All 4 star hotel is not the same. This one is really charming. Interior like no other hotels. Sailor theme with antique details - feels classic and luxury.
Big, cozy room Free water bottles Super nice service! Don't remember her name, but a short brown haired girl gave really really great service. Always with a smile, frienly. She really gave a feeling of being welcomed to the hotel! Big bathroom: loved the big mirror and two sinks Private relax for 1,5h for 200 SEK (bath robes prepared in the room already). Loved the choice of calm music. The details: cotton pads, cotton swabs etc. Little wine and chocolate with a welcoming note with my name on. Various newspapers prepared at breakfast. The bed. Medium softness. Warm blankets. Silky and soft bedding. One flat and one fluffy pillow - so the guests can choose which one they sleep best on.
Cold bathroom. The lights were not really amazing for makeup (not that bright and also very yellow) - a tip is to use the mirror at the window during the daylight. The relax is basically a sauna and tiny cold pool (to cool down after sauna). The tv had apps such as netflix. I thought at first that the hotel offered the content in netflix, but it was just an app available so the guests can log into their own accounts if they want to watch. A slight disappointment.
The breakfast is okay. The food tastes like standard. Bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt, egg, coffee, juice etc. But they also had cookies, buns, fruits and tapas like stuff (olives, sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, hummus) - the tapas stuff isn't really included in my breakfast routine, but interesing that it is there! Also impressed that they can keep this quality in corona times!

Read moreWe arrive early from America. We knew our room would not be ready so we dropped our luggage and off we went. The front desk men were all awesome! The friendly, curious attitudes were very much welcome and appreciated. The hotel sits on a cobblestone street across from the museum. There is nostalgic nautical art exhibits throughout each floor along with many other antiques. Each floor has a cart with an electric kettle, cups, tea and coffee so you can self serve anytime you want. The restaurant is a Michelin star attached to the hotel and bar on the same level as the lobby. The breakfast buffet was in the cellar where the huge array of wines are stored. The breakfast was on of the best Ive ever had in many of the countries Ive been too! Egg, bacon, sausage, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, meats, caviar, lox and on and on. Homemade peanut butter and jam, smoothies and freshly squeezed juice. AMAZING. The sauna can be booked at the reception desk. The plunge pool was not operational but didn’t bother us one bit. The room (105) was a perfect size for 2. Hygiene products in the shower and qtips, make-up pads and temporary tattoos at the sink. Yes, temporary tattoos. Something to talk about! The rain head shower was good but the smaller head shower even better. Theres a heated towel rack so your towel stays fresh for several days as opposed to single use. Theres is a sample of wine and dark chocolate along with water bottles in your room and if you ask at the desk for water they will give you a bottle. We were given a credit for food or beverage which we happily used. The food here is 5 star! Really delicious! I wouldn’t change one thing about our stay except to stay longer. Well done Victory Hotel and...
Read more12/18/24 - Traveled to Stockholm again and stayed 6 nites this time at Victory Hotel. We didn't have a Jr Suite this time but our room was spacious and on the 4th floor. We slept so well after being out all day, it was so quiet, even though we were near the elevator. Another great trip to Stockholm and again I have to commend the staff at Victory Hotel once again. The breakfast was delicious and served in a quaint room and the water pressure in the shower, perfect after a long day. Front staff is so friendly and I love the hot glogg and chocolates. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.
We spent 4 nites in Stockholm at the Victory Hotel and it was perfect. The location is great and the staff is extremely helpful. We splurged on a suite and for the cost it was more than we could of expected, and well worth the money. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hotel. The breakfast was served every morning in a great room with so much history. The food was so delicious and ever morning there were many different choices. The antiques in the hotel just add to the overall quaintness. All of the people we encountered at the front desk were so welcoming and there was a bowl of delicious chocolates waiting for us. If you have the wonderful opportunity to visit Stockholm I would check out this hotel, it's...
