One of the best hotels we stayed in EVER, definitely best experience in Thailand. The boutique hotel is a wooden paradise within a green oasis. The foyer is a patio with plants and nice tables to relax. We booked on Booking and the room was exactly as we were expecting, even better. Coffee and tea are complimentary, water is not. The guy checking us in also helped bringing the luggage upstairs, since we were on 3rd floor. Breakfast small but so so tasty: each day there is a new hot dish, paired with an every-day fruits and vegetables buffet, coffe, marmalades, toasts and eggs. We enjoyed breakfast a lot. If you have a tour pick-up at 7 am (when breakfasts starts) they’ll kind enough to prepare everything at least 15-20 min earlier to allow you to eat. Position is central and super close to everything in the city. All personnel helpful and available to support on need. Overall top experience, would recommend to anyone traveling to Chiang Mai.

This small little boutique hotel in the old city of Chiang Mai was incredibly charming! There is no elevator and only 3 rooms per floor. The wood floors throughout the hotel are beautiful. The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning worked great. The only suggestion room wise is to extend the partition on the shower. It was difficult to shower without getting water all over the bathroom floor as their water pressure is fantastic. This is the first place I have stayed where coming back to the hotel in the evening felt like coming home. I stayed here as a solo female traveller and felt very safe. The staff goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. I enjoyed their outdoor patio in the early mornings with a cup of coffee. The breakfast spread was made fresh every day. There are bikes you can use as guest of the hotel. Highly recommend booking this gem if you are in chiang Mai!

This accommodation is run by a truly lovely woman who clearly takes great care of the place. You can feel the love she puts into it, especially through the beautiful vintage decorations that seem to hold a lot of personal meaning. The service was attentive and helpful at all times. The only downside is that there’s no elevator, which can be a bit inconvenient if you have heavy luggage — as we did. That said, they kindly offered to carry our bags upstairs (bless them!). Breakfast was varied and the owner was very attentive, always making sure everything was perfect. They also let us leave our luggage at the hotel while we enjoyed our last few hours in the city. The place was very clean, and our room was spacious and well-equipped. A lovely and charming stay — highly recommended!

Wannamas Boutique House is like heaven on earth! We absolutely loved staying here during our 3 days in Chiang Mai. The moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed in and given fresh coconut water. Our 3rd floor room was spacious, sunny, quiet, clean, and comfortable, with a huge bed, drawers to store our clothes, a giant shower, and a sweet little balcony overlooking a neighbouring monastery. The hotel was extremely close to popular Chiang Mai attractions - steps away from Wat Phra Singh, tons of great restaurants, and the Sunday Walking Market. It was the perfect spot for us as tourists, and we felt safe day & night.||What stood out to us the most were the AMAZING staff members - Lak (I hope I spelled her name correctly), the manager, was especially kind and helpful. She would chat with us about our plans, offer suggestions about places to see & eat at, and helped us arrange transportation to the Bua Tong Sticky Waterfalls and Chiang Rai with an amazing driver named "Mr. Number One", who was incredibly sweet and funny. She was always present and made sure all her guests felt completely looked after. ||The food here was also outstanding - every morning there was a beautiful breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, Thai sweets, eggs/omelets, toast and cereal, with a Thai centrepiece - khao soi, pad thai, Thai stir-fry - something different each day. Lak very kindly made sure that a vegetarian version of each breakfast was available for us each morning, which we appreciated so much, and she also made amazing coffee. We ate our breakfasts outside on the gorgeous, peaceful front patio/garden area, overflowing with lush plants and colourful paper lanterns. ||Overall, we truly hope to come back to Wannamas House again someday! We'll never forget it and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!||- Julia & Peter...

This is our 6th time in Chiang Mai, and we fancied staying somewhere new. I came across the Wannamas Hotel whilst browsing, but struggled to get any research done on it.|I booked it regardless, and boy, was I glad I did!|We stayed for 9 nights and had a fabulous time.|The hotel is compact, with only ten rooms, but has a great location next to Wat Phra Singh in the old town.|The decor of the hotel is stunning, and whilst the rooms aren’t huge, they’re beautifully presented, and provide all you need.|The breakfasts we had also exceeded expectations, with a different Thai dish each morning of our nine days! No cereals to be seen, just brilliant home made food which was SOOO tasty!!!|But the highlight, and of course, the thing that can make or break your stay, was the staff. The manager, the chef, and all the rest of the team, were fabulous. Keen to explain things when you had questions, and always with huge smiles and warmth, as you see from so many Thais.||Will we be staying here next time we visit Chiang Mai? Absolutely yes!||And as far as research is concerned I’ll be uploading a video review of the hotel to YouTube in the next few weeks, and I’ll add the link to this review once it’s done.|A superb hotel with a wonderful staff and atmosphere, highly...

We are simply speechless… it was just incredible. This was our first time in Thailand, and we couldn’t have felt more welcomed. It was truly unforgettable, and the warm reception we received made everything even more special. From the very first moment, we were greeted in an impeccably clean hotel, full of charm, and perfectly located just a short walk from the stunning Wat Phra Singh temple.

We would especially like to highlight the outstanding service provided by the staff. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Unfortunately, we only stayed in Chiang Mai for two nights, leaving early each morning for various activities. Despite this, they went above and beyond to ensure we had breakfast prepared even before the usual serving hours, making sure we never missed a meal.

We will definitely be back! We were enchanted by the traditional beauty and charm of the resort the moment we walked in. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, authenticity, and...
