Q Kata Residence — Hotel in Karon

Check-in was fast, and the room was clean. There were some minor deficiencies like ripped towels, no shampoo or conditioner, and lack of hangers and pillows. Also, they do not have credit card machine. They only accept a security deposit of 3000 THB in cash. I was upset at the fact that they did not have a basic payment option at first. However, I quickly learned that ot is common in Thailand. They were easy about it and told me to pay it after I get some cash the next day. We were welcomed with a fresh fruit gift bag, which included 3 mangoes, 1 dragon fruit, and a papaya. Q kata was well equipped with basic kitchen stuff as well as laundry stuff. The location was great with lots of restaurants and convenient stores close to it. Kata night market is 5 min away, and it offers a variety of street foods. This was my favorite spot to eat. We stayed at this condo-hotel for 12 days and absolutely loved it!|The apartments are spacious (we had a 130 m² unit with 3 rooms), clean, quiet, and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent — close to everything, yet peaceful.||Special thanks to Alexander — a true professional. The check-in process was smooth, and we were even welcomed earlier than expected. Any extra requests were handled easily and promptly.||There’s 24/7 access to a great swimming pool, and the building has parking for both cars and motorbikes. Be aware that electricity is charged separately. We stayed for 7 nights, mostly only using aircon at night, and we're charged 2300 Bhat. Personally I think they are making a profit on that which should really be added to the room rate and electricity charged at actual cost. Apartments are clean and well furnished, with comfortable beds and all appliances in good working order. The pool and gym are excellent and the games room with table tennis and the trampoline were great for the kids. The location is perfect, 5 mins walk to the night market, 8 mins to the beach, plenty of great restaurants on the doorstep....
