A great view from the upper terrace, get there early to see the sky change colour as the sun sets! The burger was so tasty and there was so much food I couldn't fit all the cheese platter in. If you don't have a reservation, you may not be let through the secret door to the upper terrace.......

Regarding the view: you aren't above the city, you're in the city. It's a perfect height. Not too high to be looking down on air conditioning systems, but not so low that you feel everyone's watching you. You have Lumphini park just near you too, so it feels a little like Bangkok's own "Central Park".

Cocktails aren't cheap, 320 baht plus, but you are paying for the view. A small beer was 190+. A selection of craft ales on tap too, around 250-350 baht for around 330ml. They are well presented cocktails, not just a thrown together mixer. My old fashioned came in a cloud of smoke and my wife's cocktail got set on fire! All a part of the show!

On the Wednesday night we went, there was a house DJ providing great quality music as we ate. It may not be your thing, but we thought it was great.
