Location: The location of the Dusit Suites is near the Ratchadamri Station, Lumphini Park, and many great places to have food. Even with the location, noise was not a problem at all if the windows are closed. Even if the windows were open, the main problem would be heat. The Ratchadamri BTS station is great because it’s not busy, so you don’t have to worry about getting squashed in the crowd. Amenities: There is an incredible pool on the 2nd floor of the hotel. The majority of the pool is in the shade but still completely outside. The pool was very clean and didn’t have lots of leaves, sticks, rocks, or anything. There were only 2 flowers in the pool, which would be quite hard to maintain, I would imagine. Wi-Fi was good, nothing special but perfectly fine and I could live with it, the speed was about 50 megabits per second download and upload. Food: The breakfast food is very nice, there is pancakes, eggs, omelettes, french toast and way more. They have coffee and the food is completely free and tastes incredible, getting breakfast downstairs there is a must for everyone who goes to the hotel. They don’t only have breakfast, they also have lunch and dinner as well, there are plenty of drinks and the staff at the restaurant are very nice. Rooms: The 2-bedroom superior suite was absolutely incredible, and the photos made it look bad because the rooms were really nice and had great air conditioning and amenities. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Bangkok, especially if you’re going for a long trip and want a quiet hotel. The beds were very comfortable and easy to fall asleep in, which is very good because a lot of hotels have uncomfortable beds. Also, the beds were very big as well. Service: Room cleaners are very polite and do a very good job at cleaning the rooms. People at the counter are very nice and carry your bags up to the room for you, which is really good when you have jet lag or are just tired. All the staff are just so nice, polite, and genuinely care about the customer, which really...
Read moreThis is more of a serviced apartment than a hotel (and definitely not 5 stars as advertised) and has some serious problems which would need to be fixed before I'd consider staying again. Details below...
Positives: Great location (close to BTS station and major malls) Generously sized apartments with balconies (ours had two) overlooking greenery Nice bathtub Generally very good food at the restaurant and via room service Friendly (but not necessarily competent: see below) staff Good value for the area
Negatives: Our apartment (1012) had an occasional awful smell in the kitchen, possibly coming from the sink drain, and despite complaining to the front desk this wasn't resolved. The furniture is old and worn out, with lots of scuffs and scratches, and the air conditioning was noisy. The outdoor walkway from the elevators to the room had scuffs and stains all the way along the wall. Time for a renovation and re-paint. The housekeeping staff seemed annoyed whenever we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door throughout the morning, which meant we felt pressured to go out so they could service the room. At many other hotels I've stayed at, the usual practice is to slip a card under the door saying "sorry we missed you" and offering to come back later upon request. The service at the restaurant and front desk was incredibly hit and miss depending on the staff member we encountered. Some were great, others seemed flustered and disorganised. They also seemed to be training new staff over the New Year period, which obviously isn't ideal because it slows everything down. We waited nearly 20 minutes to check-out on Jan 2nd, even though there were only a couple of other guests. The pool looked nice but the water was freezing cold (likely because it's always shaded), so we...
Read moreAs I've only recently found the time to write after our truly enjoyable second stay at your wonderful hotel. My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying with you twice in 2024, once in September and again in November. Both visits were incredibly pleasant experiences.
I was particularly touched by the warm welcome I received from Ms. Songhee Ha, the Hotel Manager, upon our arrival. The Front Office Manager (whose name I unfortunately cannot recall at the moment) also extended a very kind greeting, which was much appreciated.
The location of Dusit Suites Ratchadamri is truly exceptional. Situated in such an exclusive neighborhood, opposite the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, and with the incredible convenience of being just a short 100-meter walk from the BTS station, it provides a peaceful yet incredibly accessible haven in the heart of Bangkok.
We absolutely loved our spacious One Bedroom Superior Suite (77 sqm). The separate bedroom and living area were a fantastic feature, and the city views from our private balconies were a delight. We particularly appreciated the well-designed bathroom with its separate raised bathtub and shower, offering excellent privacy and convenience. The full set of amenities provided in the room was also a thoughtful touch. Furthermore, the kitchenette proved to be very convenient during our stay. The light-filled and airy ambiance of the suite truly allowed us to escape and unwind. We also found the hotel's swimming pool and restaurant to be generously sized, providing ample space for relaxation and enjoyable dining.
Thank you once again for consistently providing such a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming base for our travels in Bangkok. We thoroughly enjoyed both of our stays and are already looking forward to revisiting and staying with you again...
