AKA Yakiniku Central Pattaya — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Our son and daughter in law chose to dine at AKA as the last meal together before he had to leave to join the Navy .. so we were looking forward to a happy experience. It turned out far from that and gets a rating of 1 star from me. The short story .. we ordered Premium buffet (800+with drink) but at the table only 2 of our our phone orders confirmed .. meaning we were waiting on food we had ordered that didn't turn up .. by the time we had worked out that this food was not coming due to a phone ordering malfunction .. we managed to add 1 desert each to the other orders .. and in the end had only eaten for 2 plus desert and drinks for 4. When trying to discuss this with the staff they pointed me toward the Supervisor who decided that we had eaten for 4. Her reasoning was that if we didn't want to eat more food now we had eaten for 4 so pay for 4. She refused to listen that we had to to drop the son off now so that he could begin his journey back to his home region .. therefore although still hungry didn't have the time now. I asked politely about a small compromise like paying for 3 instead of 4 because I was pretty annoyed that my complet Premium order hadn't been delivered and basically the same for my partner. Pay for 4 was all I got out of the Supervisor as though no compromise was the store pokicy. We were interrupted at this point by an irate Chinese customer who had walked back into the store after realizing that he had been incorrectly charged .. I could only smile listening to the same old diatribe from the Supervisor that it was obviously his fault and that he had been charged correctly .. 5555 more poor form AKA! Back to me .. I asked for a Manager or Owners contact details so that I could discuss this matter with them. I was given a number .. so paid the bill and left but couldn't help feeling how unethical this AKA was allowing their staff to ACT in a way that amounts to theft, in my opinion. Manager at least listened a bit but the messaging was a little lost in communicating via our different languages (often the case I'm guessing) although thanked me for bringing it to their attention and apologised for the Supervisor behaviour. He did want to offer a different experience for next time but was guessing rightly that wasn't going to happen for a while .. No refund, so stilI theft .. he is right .. his offer (amounting to nothing) is probably the same every time so I have learnt my lesson about unethical practices and that it is worth warning others but remember there are many better less expensive more customer friendly places everywhere .. so leave AKA...

My family and I have been frequent visitors to AKA Yakiniku Central Pattaya, and I’m happy to say that the restaurant has truly stepped up its game over the past few months. Typically, we go for the Ultimate Buffet to satisfy our cravings, but recently, they’ve added a new highlight that’s worth celebrating Wagyu Beef! As someone from Texas a state renowned for its love of great beef I can confidently say that the quality and flavor of their Wagyu are exceptional. Properly grilled, it’s a real treat. First and foremost, I want to give a shoutout to the attentive customer service here. The staff consistently exceed expectations, especially Ta (น้องต้า) and น้องอ้อน (Aon), who always make us feel welcome and well taken care of. The restaurant offers a wide variety of options including pork, chicken, seafood, vegetables, and beef. On this visit, we indulged in the Wagyu Beef, and it did not disappoint. Among the different types we sampled, two stood out - Carrara Wagyu simply melt in your mouth delicious. Each bite was an experience, and my wife, who tried it medium rare for the first time, absolutely loved it. Jack’s Creek Wagyu Karubi another top-tier choice, packed with rich flavor and tenderness. Great Premium BBQ Experience at AKA – Central Pattaya

I had a wonderful dinner at AKA in Central Festival Pattaya with a friend, and we chose the Premium Buffet option. The overall experience was top-notch from start to finish.

Our waiter was incredibly helpful — she explained everything clearly, from how to order to the full details of the menu. The service really made us feel comfortable and welcome, especially since it was our first visit.

The food quality was excellent, especially the beef cuts and seafood. We really enjoyed the unlimited refill soft drinks too — a nice touch that kept us refreshed throughout the meal.
