Visited in Nov 2022 This was my 2nd time visiting the SkyBar (last time being in 2016). In my view, this place still commands the best rooftop view of the city. The drinks are crazy expensive and so is the dinner. However we went in knowing that and hence were prepared for a large bill. The average drink costs more than THB1000 (esp if you want to order cocktails). The dinner tasting menu was good and service was fine too, but too expensive in my view. You can have a dinner at Gaggan or Suhring for a lower price. You visit this place for the views and that’s what the premium is for. If you want ‘bang for buck’, then this isn’t the place to go. When you reach the top floor, just head outside to the rooftop and say that you’re there for the sky bar counter. It seemed like they wanted us to lead us to somewhere else but because I had been there before I knew where to go. Hence, just head for what you probably came to the place for 🙂

High end and fancy restaurant famous for Hangover on 64th floor that possesses the best view on Bangkok, so impressive. If you want to be astonished and breath taken by total experience - this place should be your choice. Both intimate and very vivid, according to your preferances this restaurant can provide you the vibe you want, I loved the bar area. The menu consists of perfectly combined selection of courses that can be paired with some exclusive wine ( the choice is great) or if you ask me - better with passion fruit martini because here it tastes just as it should be. The courses come quickly so don’t worry if you are hungry - it is worth the short wait and price. Vegetarian option I preferred. The staff is great and has great sense of humor, also smoking in the restaurant area is intolerable. Dress code is obligatory. I recommend you to book a table in advance. And to order passion fruit martini.

First of all, it hella expensive🫠 The drinks are just average and the food is quite below the average. The chicken on the taco was really dry and the calamari did not taste fresh. Also the music is really bad in my opinion….and is wayyyy too loud for the indoor seating area and there was only one table at the time. But worst of all and why I chose never coming back nor recommend is their service. This is my first ever time stepping into a hotel that no staff smile or greets. Except for one staff named Gina, who was really welcoming and showing great attitude. This is our first time to this hotel which has like 3 or 4 bars, and we would like to take a look before choosing which bar to stay. However, when we step into the sirocco bar, there was a staff immediately stop us and said “you need to order a drink minimum in this bar.” I replied, I understand but we would like to take a look at the bar first to decide which one to go to.” Yet he kept on asking “you will order a drink right? You need to order a drink!” I had to assured him soo many times that if we stay we will definitely order don’t worry. But bro what’s with that attitude! Finally when we sat down in the bar, the staff looks really annoyed and had absolutely no facial expressions on her face. While we were in the bar she was even on her phone and when we had eye contact, she continued scrolling her phone. That was absolutely unprofessional and disrespectful to the guests. As a tourist myself and person who loved Thailand so much, I felt so ashamed for this experience. To be honest, if you have a lot of money and don’t mind wasting you are welcome to visit, if not, Thailand has soooo many amazing sky bars with amazing services, views, and drinks for you to visit.

Over priced? Racist? Get out of here. Here is not for the poor. The young Caucasian woman seems saying so. I am Japanese and just read other reviews and knew that most Asian people have to be seated at the bottom of the dome and White people are to be seated downstairs with good view. After got to the bar, a white woman host shows a menu fixed on the floor like a stone pillar, but they actually have menu book. Just refuse the highest price drink menu and ask them to bring ALL drink menu. It was the third visit for me but I had not met foreign staff at the bar until this time. All Thai staffs are friendly and nice to us but the young white woman was not. She doesn't smile, not elegant, she made a big noise and put my wine glass(1,235Baht) on the table. I think she is the woman most reviews mentioned about. She looks like an Eastern European. I hope she will not be there next time. Besides, at the same day, we went to have an afternoon tea at the Peninsula hotel which service was excellent. If I say about hospitality, there is much difference between the Peninsula hotel lounge and this Sky bar. So, Don't expect them too much. Until the second visit 2014, I was able to go downstairs, but now the security guards stops me even taking photos on the stairs for safety. I'm not sure I can go downstairs but I was ok because it was the third visit for me. I can imagine after the movie out, it was always packed. and then, they raised the price, but I don't care. I and my friend had a peaceful time in the spectacular scenery on the sofa with jazz live. So, there are two kinds of place now. One is for the poor where located at the bottom of the dome, and another is for the rich located downstairs.

Hey Bangkok Hangover … yes this is where that movie was filmed!! Very cool right! So my friend and I we went to the sky bar and had a bite to eat. He likes to have everything over the top which is fine, but it was my first time here, and I found it to be quite expensive, especially for the value of what you were getting.! The view is spectacular as like everyone writes in the reviews and we ordered a set menu meal, which was OK in my eyes I could probably have had better street food than the food here! It was bland, and it was OK. We upgraded to Wagyu beef, which was an additional thousand baht each which to me was the size of not even my palm. My friend and I asked for Tabasco sauce to be put on our food because he likes our food spicy.! Our bill came to a little over ฿36,000! For what we had this was way way way over the top even though there was a couple of bottles of wine and there was a few drinks however it wasn’t worth over $1000 US pretty much! I write honest were the reviews, and this was my experience! Anyway, it’s worth to go just because of the view order a few drinks and leave if that’s what you want the food is not all that! I would recommend to go here and maybe share a bottle of wine and look at the view. The music is really good to. However, the bathrooms are kind of not convenient to either in this place.! This establishment is disgustingly discriminatory towards Asians. Absolutely atrocious behaviour in 2023 and what more in an Asian country! We were there on Nov 13 at around 9.15pm. The place was quiet at that hour and we had entered with 2 Caucasian couples. The sole female server tending the area proceeded to ask the 2 couples if they wanted drinks. We hung around taking pictures of the view for a good 20 mins but were never served. Suspicions were further raised when another group of you guessed it, Caucasians, entered and she was there to cater to them. This was when we decided we’ve had enough and took off. We informed the indoor servers whose paltry response was to move us to an adjacent bar. What buffoonery. It’s no wonder this place had only 4 stars while other newer, trendier bars in town had higher ratings. We should have read the warnings. Another thing to note was how dark the place was. So much so that women in heels were at a risk of tripping and falling on the dark wooden steps leading up to the viewing deck which was exactly what happened to one lady there. This bar is perhaps still relying on its claim to fame from that one Hollywood movie more than a decade ago. The silver lining was we didn’t pay a dime to get some stunning shots before leaving.
