Mixed feelings. Would not stay here again solely because of the manager/ owners ignorace and behaviour. The manager (agha) is extremely disrespectful and started mocking me in the lobby for asking for a refund/ compensation for our first night because our AC was broken and they sent us to a different hotel at MIDNIGHT. And didn't have another room ready until afternoon the next day. (We were staying a week)
It was handled extremely poorly, and they offered zero compensation, for giving a room the next day, and sending us to their partner hotel across the street at midnight after we informed them of the issue in the afternoon. A technic also came at 11pm to climb on the room furniture and check the ceiling vent.. extremely unprofessional while guests are in the room.
If you don't have issues you will have a good stay, but they are not good at problem solving.
Breakfast I will say was excellent. They had made to order eggs, omelettes, fresh pancakes and waffles and variety of fruit, cheeses, veggies, salads, and with a good view. It got repetitive after a week, but it was good quality.
The bathroom was nice and the room was comfortable, once we had a working room. I still wouldn't stay here again or recommend it because the attitude of the owner was horrible and a disgrace to Turkish people. There's many other places to take your business.
The spa is just a steam room and sauna. The 'Hammam' is a room where you bring you own soaps and do it yourself. Only free until 6pm. There is a pool in the partner hotel which is quite nice. Very quiet, warm and calming. They said since we reserved through booking we have access untill 10pm, otherwise it's also just untill 6pm.
I would also recommend using booking, becaue they were able to offer me a refund after explaining the situation. Hopefully it came out of the hotels pocket. Thank you to Safiya, and Beddretin they were apologetic and very friendly, and sweet.
Tldr. Horrible owner. No problem solving skills, good breakfast, go...
Read moreWe are staying in this hotel right now and it is simply amazing. I was a bit hesitant to book this hotel as there weren't that many reviews. I took a gamble and it is well worth it. It is bit on the expensive side but amenities make up for the additional cost. Hotel was opened a couple of years ago but due to pandemic it has hardly been used. Pretty much everything looks brand new. ||||Pros: We are in a triple room with a balcony and it is very spacious. There is a mini fridge in the room along with a large cabinet. Interestingly, TV is hidden in the large mirror in the middle of the room so it serves dual purpose. Air conditioner is solid and it got quite cold at night. As it is a newer hotel, they have incorporated a few new technologies. One strange thing; there is a window in the bathroom that faces the room. Why? 😂. ||||If your room faces the street, it can get a bit noisy. But not enough to bother.||||Breakfast was simply awesome. Selection was quite large. Breakfast is served on the rooftop which has a fantastic view of Laleli Camii. Breakfast is probably the highlight of our stay! ||||There is a spa/hammam in the building. Hammam is supposedly free from 2 to 6pm. But I haven't tried it yet. ||||There is a swimming pool across the street in their sister hotel called Beethoven Premium. No swimming pool in this building.||||There is a small area to pray, mescit, in the basement.||||Majority of the staff is friendly. One of the receptionists could use a little more welcoming smile. ||||Hotel is in the commercial shopping market. Majority of the attractions are a good 15 to 20 minutes walk. And it is not a straight walk as there are a lots of ups and downs as Istanbul terrain is quite hilly. ||||There are a few restaurants near by. Famous Laleli Camii (masjid) is three minutes walk. ||||It is an ideal hotel for a business person. Families/vacationers who want to stay closer to the attractions should try something a bit closer to attractions. Overall an...
Read moreLoved this hotel! Its very modern and glam! Very clean! Lovely staff - very friendly anytime of the day or night. Cleaning staff were friendly too. Lovely views from restaurant and great food too, lots of options for breakfast! Its close by to shops, restaurants, the metro and mosques! Everything was easily accessible. Very safe too. The reason I stayed at this hotel was because of its spa facility, the ladies are amazing, the hammam is soo worth it! |||Cons - and these might seem tedious to some but its just stuff that caught my eye / nose. ||- There was a smell coming from bathroom - maybe the drain system?||- One of the hand towels in the bathroom had a mark on it. ||- I called ahead of check in to make sure I had a double bed, I was told it would be a king size (perfect) when i got there it was 2 large singles and the guy pushed it together 🙄 just meant that i could only sleep on one side because of the split in the middle. ||Would i stay here again? Yes of course - service was really good, hotel is really nice, food was good, i would just specify again what I want for when i...
