Kaftan Hotel — Hotel in Fatih

I am from Sweden and stayed in this hotel in Jul 2025. I booked the hotel online based on location. Inconvenience started as soon as we stepped inside. Very small narrow road and small door with 2-3 steps, getting luggage inside hotel was a task. Hotel staff was not welcoming and not at all supportive! May be because my booking was prepaid, he was least bothered in talking and supporting! Rooms: very small rooms , either 2 ppl can live in the room or keep 2 luggages. AC starts to function after 15 mins of keeping it on! Bathrooms were clogged and water was not draining. Cleaning was poor. Breakfast was basic. Salad and fruits were not fresh! View in reality is old slum like and after it you see water at far! Lift is super small. I wanted to change the hotel in 30 mins of being there, but since it was prepaid.. i adjusted. There are many nice hotels nearby with better location and price and very nice trourist welcoming people!! This was my first trip with my kid to Istanbul and apart from this hotel every person we spoke to in city were so warm and nice! This hotel Guy harrassed me and ruined my experience of leaving the city at the time of checkout! Please select better hotels so you also leave the city with good experience but...

I have stayed at Kaftan several times,| I feel like my home every time I stay here. It is a Perfect place to enjoy ur voyage and get relax.||Owner is very respectable, honest and helpful person, always gives advice and he do not mind or ban an effort to help you.|| Super employees” receptions, house keepers”, they have a good infection control of COVID 19,||Room is very clean and well decorated.|Elevator exist which make it more comfortable.||There is a nice teracce with sea view where they serve a really nice breakfast even in the pandemic time” they do the breakfast in personal for everyone with his own space at the terrace in order to enjoy the sea view while getting the breakfast, so the guests will not have contacts at the breakfast which gives more healthy atmosphere as well.||They are very helpful, give advices, and very honest. They are very careful about the guests needs.||They have a beautiful garden with free tea and Coffe all the day,|Free WiFi which works well at each part...

Came here on a short holiday to Istanbul. When we were carrying our baggage to our rooms, the person at the desk was really helpful and helped us carry our baggage. Our room was uniquely under the surface so during the hot temperature outside it was nice to be slightly cooler. Unfortunately the room had some short-comings, there weren't enough towels, and some other things so we had to ask for those. Another thing that was annoying was that the cleaner came into our room and cleaned things even when we put the Do Not Disturb sign, which was a bit annoying because we didn't like the idea of someone being in out room and doing things. But the buffet room on the higher levels was great and had quite a lot of options but warning, do not try the juice! It tastes like chemicals and dishwashing liquid mixed together. I also liked the little 'garden' outside the hotel which had cups and tea which you could make for yourself. Unfortunately the smoking got annoying. But that's to be...
