Today, I had the pleasure of dining at this rooftop restaurant in Istanbul that offers breathtaking views of both the sea and the iconic Blue Mosque. From the moment I stepped out onto the terrace, I was captivated by the panoramic vistas that perfectly encapsulate the beauty of this historic city. The ambiance is nothing short of spectacular. As the sun sets, the views become even more enchanting, with the Blue Mosque illuminated against the twilight sky. The breakfast for 2 didn't look nor tasted fresh at all, apart from the French stick. Tiny portions of overpriced, overcooked, greasy eggs, tasteless cheese with some sort of inedible dried ham... It's a pitiful place, it really is. They'll sweet talk you of the street promising you the best views, food and service but it's all a con. Beware of items you ask that isn't on the menu as this will be their carte blanche to be utterly ripped off. I was bullied to pay straight after the bill was presented so as not to check the bill properly. It was nearly impossible to fathom the bill as it was all in Turkish. All over suddenly, the staff lost their ability to understand English, and all methods of communication were through pointing fingers. I was warned about this sort of practice now...

I celebrated my 21st birthday here and had a memorable experience. The staff were supportive, polite, and genuinely humble, which made the evening even better. The interior decor is beautiful, with authentic Turkish touches that create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

One of the highlights is the breathtaking view of the Blue Mosque while dining. The combination of the stunning view, Turkish music, and well-designed interior makes the dining experience truly special.

However, I felt the food quality was quite average for the price they charge. That said, the service and hospitality were unmatched — the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
