Mirilayon Hotel (4 Yıldızlı) — Hotel in Fatih

Mirilayon is the hotel with the most surprises of the hotels we stayed in Istanbul, but i think we should have expect it since is 3 star (I see on agoda is listed like a 4 stars and on expedia like a 2 stars…we booked it last year as a 3 stars:)) we found good and bad reviews and was really cheap on that moment so this was actually the reason why we booked it for a really fast stay in Istanbul. Is still close to the center , close to the attractions of Istanbul but placed in a more comercial area.||||I wanted to stay in that part of the city, Lalely area for the shops and because we didn't stay before in that area. Consider way better the Sultanahmet area is the best area for first , second time in Istanbul.||||The Mirilayon hotel is placed on a side street not to far from the boulevard 5, 6 tram stations from historical center at the end of a wide boulevard on wich on the right and left are only shops mostly not so interesting ones(maybe just the shoe shops:)). Hotel looks nice from outside a really small reception and entrance , lobby is really turkish like all the other entrances of the hotels in Turkey bling bling tipe wich is not a bad thing is their style.||The receptionist was really welcoming , he invited us to sit in the lobby untill they prepaired our room and after 20 minutes or so we went in an upper floor room and we had the big surprise, the room was smelly, really smelly, the bathroom was not cleaned ,the toilet seat had stains on it , and the water dispenser had evident fingerprints ,black hairs on the toilet, sink and even bed ....what can i say i never before experienced this tipe of hotel room , so imagine i was really pissed off . We went down to the reception where again they talked really nice to us and they called the hotel manager and he came with us in the room to see what was our complain and he apologised and he said he can't change the room but he will call the cleaning people to change the bed sheets and clean the bathroom. Since we are not so picky people and were only for a short stay in Istanbul we accepted it and we left in the city for a walk and he said all will be fresh and clean when we comeback fact that was true , they cleaned the room and they left us a basket with fruits and wine to apologise.||||We had breakfast included (we were kind of afraid after the experience with the room) but was all ok the food was good and enough options for the price we paid. The personnel of the hotel was really well mannered , receptionist , people in the breakfast area and the manager.||They also have a hammam area with wet sauna and massage and we had a full body massage, which i can say was one of the best i had , and was really cheap to . The personnel from the spa area was russian and they were a little nose up :)) in my opinion but still ok , we where really happy with the sauna and the massage after a long walk in the city.||||All in all the hotel is ok, in my opinion the rooms are dated but for the price we paid they compensate with breakfast and massage, I can see other people experienced better rooms than us.||We certainly like Istanbul that's why i think we will go back every year and we will try to stay in other hotel every time we go. This hotel was chosen from many others, not overpriced, not that far from the city centre. If you are expecting a place to put your staff, to relax a little after a long day of exciting adventures in Istanbul, to have a shower and very nice breakfast - this is it.||From Aksaray station - which is 4 or 5 stations (actually max 10 minutes) from Sultanahmet station, you should walk maximum 7 minutes and here it is. Big building with a lot of shops around and a barbershop (not bad one - we had an anniversary of our wedding and my wife used that possibility) on the corner.||Upon arrival they offered us help with the luggage, welcome drink and turkish delight)))||The room is not that big, a little used, but we were there because of the location. Later in the evening a plate of fruits and a bottle of wine appeared in the room as a compliment. ||Fridge was working, wifi was working, safebox was working, elevator and TV were working too))||The breakfast is really nice, huge selection of jams, cheeses, cold cuts. They offer hot drinks and you can start your day in a proper way there with many many fresh fruits.||The bar in the lobby is also good) ||The hotel made good impression!...

Удобство расположения 50/50 по удобству: пешком от метро не спеша 15 минут, но это если знаешь путь. Первый раз очень долго искали. Рядом оптовые магазины тюлей и портьер. Зона ресепшена скромная, приятная. Оплату берут сразу при заселении. Работник ресепшена говорил и на английском и на ломаном русском мог обьяснить ключевые моменты. Везде по отелю расставлены антисептики, молодцы. При заселении проверьте всё в номере! Нам пришлось поменять номер в первый же день. Причём смену номера пришлось требовать, и это было не легко. Благо я говорю на турецком, мне приходилось объяснять и на английском, и на турецком! Итак, первый номер по метражу явно был меньше заявленного, но это не беда. В номере не было интернета, точнее не было сигнала вай-Фай! В коридоре интернет есть, а за порогом номера интернета (речь идёт про вайфай отеля) нет. На ресепшене утверждали что в течении пяти минут проблема будет устранена. Поверили, ушли гулять по городу, вернулись после ужина, а интернета не было! Вновь связались с ресепшеном, сказали сейчас исправим. Только третий техник сказал, что там один из роутеров не исправен. И только благодаря ему номер поменяли. Во втором номере полотенца были рассчитаны на одно лицо, хотя номер двухместный. Холодильник не работал. Сообщили на ресепшн ( чтоб не было проблем при выселении), полотенца донесли на следующий день. Думаю скорость сервиса понятна?||А теперь внимание в Стамбуле, недалеко от центра, в Турции (!!!) в номере не было ни одного турецкого канала, я уже не говорю про русско или англоязычные телеканалы. Было примерно 40 арабских каналов и всё.||Шумоизоляция. Ее просто нет! Если вам повезёт с жителями соседних номеров и они окажутся арабами, то будете себя чувствовать словно находитесь на арабском рынке, все вокруг будет громко.||Если вы религиозный человека, отель прекрасно подойдёт для вас! Вы не пропустите ни один азан, будете слышать призывы сразу из нескольких мечетей. С 3-4 утра услышите крики уличных грузчиков и шум катания их телег.||До остановки трамвая недалеко, и вам будет удобно добраться до исторический части города султанахмет и далее.||Завтрак. Шведский стол в двух метрах от ограждения. Что увидишь, то попросишь и это будет в тарелке. А если на их усмотрение, то повара насервируют тарелку ассорти из сыров, это не французские сыры, а солёные сыры на любителя. Мне не зашли. Овощи, фрукты свежие. Соков нет! Только чай, кофе сублимированный, вода. Столовые приборы упакованы в бумажные пакеты. Разок попалась немытая вилка. Это, конечно, вопрос к персоналу буфета.||Недалеко отеля, в принципе везде сможете попробовать нормальный турецкий кофе, но не в отеле.||Постель не меняли ни разу за 5 дней проживания! Полотенца не меняли! Ванная и туалет. Если вы человек нормального телосложения, то выходя из душа вы всем телом прикоснетесь к дверям душевой кабины, раковине. Настолько там тесно. Если вы тучный человек, то я даже не представляю как вы зайдёте/выйдете в/из душа. Душевая кабина не герметична, после душа пол в ванной будет в воде.||Вода горячая всегда есть! ||Сейф исправен.||В номере хоть и заявлено, но нет ни чая, ни кофе, ни сахара. Но есть бумажные стаканы (2) и чайник. Ещё есть термос без крышки!!!! Но зато на термосе написано «для вашего удобства». Для чего предназначен термос, да ещё и без крышки ну просто непонятно.||За такую стоимость можно найти...
