A Gem of a Stay: My Unforgettable Experience.
We all seek that perfect escape, that ideal place where comfort meets convenience and every detail feels just right. Recently, I had the pleasure of discovering a hotel that truly embodies this vision, delivering an experience that was, in almost every way, truly exceptional. While I won't name the specific hotel here (to keep this review broadly applicable, though if you ask me, I'll happily share!), I want to share why my stay was so remarkable, and one tiny but important piece of feedback for management.
The Heart of Hospitality: Beyond Five Stars
From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in a warmth that set the tone for my entire visit. The staff at this hotel are nothing short of phenomenal. Every single person I encountered – from the front desk to the housekeeping team, and the restaurant staff – was incredibly friendly, genuinely helpful, and profoundly respectful. It wasn't just service; it was a genuine desire to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They anticipated needs, offered assistance with a smile, and made me feel like a truly valued guest. In an industry where service can sometimes feel transactional, this team delivered an experience that felt personal and heartfelt.
Location, Location, Location!
Beyond the warm welcome, the hotel's location is a significant draw. Strategically situated, it puts everything within easy reach. Whether it was exploring local attractions, grabbing a quick coffee, or finding evening entertainment, convenience was key. No long commutes or frustrating searches – just easy access to all the things that make a trip enjoyable. This made exploring the area a breeze and truly added to the relaxed feel of the stay.
Comfort & Culinary Delights
Stepping into my room was another delight. It was spotlessly clean, a comfort that immediately puts your mind at ease. The size was perfect – neither cramped nor overly vast, offering a cozy yet spacious feel that allowed me to unwind completely. It truly felt like a little sanctuary after a day out.
And then there's the food! The hotel's restaurant boasts a variety of food selections that could satisfy every palate. From local delicacies to international favourites, each dish was prepared with care and flavour. The ambience of the restaurant itself was also wonderful – vibrant yet sophisticated, making every meal a pleasant dining experience.
A Small Nudge for Perfection: The Bathroom Essentials
Now, as much as I want to paint a picture of unblemished perfection, I have one constructive piece of feedback for the management. I totally understand that cost-cutting is often a necessity in today's economic climate, and I appreciate the challenges involved. However, I did notice one area where this felt a little too apparent: the bathroom accessories.
Specifically, the absence of items like body lotion felt like a small but noticeable omission. These little touches, while seemingly minor, significantly elevate the guest experience. They communicate a level of care and luxury that guests often associate with a premium hotel stay. While I understand the need to be frugal, perhaps this is one area where a small adjustment could make a world of difference in the overall perception of guest comfort and attention to detail.
In Conclusion: A Wonderful Stay Awaits!
Despite this minor point, my stay was overwhelmingly positive. The incredible staff, the convenient location, the comfortable rooms, and the delightful dining combine to create a truly memorable experience.
If you're looking for a place where you're treated like family, where comfort reigns supreme, and where the service is genuinely exceptional, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It's a true testament to what outstanding hospitality can be, and with a tiny reconsideration on those bathroom essentials, it would be absolutely flawless!

Read moreDon’t expect customer service from this 3-star hotel. I wanted to book the Rotana near Al Reem but they showed out from my application. Anyway, I booked this hotel and I will never return in my life. I booked my rooms for one month before and I received a call at 16:46 informing me hotel was full and to just pay for the first night as a deposit otherwise at 18:00 they would cancel the booking . I was told not to cancel it because we are on the way. She refused and told me I would send you the payment link to your email and just pay. By the way, this lady got my email and she repeated my email address but I didn't receive anything. The hotel just knows they are full at 16:45? Why they didn't call in the morning or afternoon time? They can't see the forecast? I could've made my way to come earlier from Dubai to ABU DHABI. The reception duty manager Grace. The most horrible duty manager ever seen. Here to make your stay even worse. Well, I would say even make your stay more horrible. The way she talks has zero customer service. We arrive at the hotel around 20:30 ish. The service here is extremely fast and no one is tempted to make any effort. The booking is under my name and staying is my parents. She refused to check in in no manner. She said talk to your agent Booking.com to change the name. And she kept saying travel agent, Booking.com. But what’s wrong with the Booking.com as my booking is from the company lol. My husband say please can you allow my wife, allow the customer to talk? Finally I get 30second. But she is not even look at my reservation email. I told her to do a favor as my parents are old and my house is just in Al Reem 10mins I will be back. She aggressively says no as the hotel get the fine . I totally understand and I wanted to speak to a duty manager and she said I was the one and told me I could call CID. Bravo I never see a hotel duty manager when she dealing with the issue in not giving the chance to the customer to talk.i have never see a duty manager not to distinguish the situation instead to elevated the whole situation. She didn’t even allow me to talk. She react extremely aggressive as I don’t know why. Me as a customer is the one that who give a solution. I understand the rules I told her I will take a taxi to go home and please do the check in process by the time I return you will get my ID as they are old and tired. Also my husband will be here. She will said no we can call CID. We call CID. Speechless. She didn’t even wanna listen. And guys this is a duty manager. She said I can call security manager. And she insisted to call CID again and ask me to speak to them. At this stage everything is awful and completely ridiculous. I went back home to take my ID and return. I requested check in by Lamiaa as I couldn’t talk with her anymore. She went into the office keep the door open still and shouted can you come out and check in “this lady” ? I really can’t hold this anymore. I have staying in so many hotels and no one single hotel staff react in this manner. By the way she said once I register who is staying in the room is up to me. Do whatever you want. It’s your room. What?? Should I tell CID this? When I was doing check in there were another 2 tourist arrived and she suddenly react very nice and friendly. Completely face changed. And by the way the guest before my first approach, she was still having bad attitude. That’s funny in her. Anyways Lamiaa make my check in very smooth! Thank you! I will report this issue with the company discount platform too regard of the whole stay. Recommendation? If you coming to this hotel I would say good luck to you. Pray for your luck. If you book for your parents, they are old/ don’t speak the language, please book somewhere else not the this. Cuz they will treated you as they...
Read moreThis hotel is not good at all. Especially for family staycation it is not advisable to book in their hotel as they are having crazy rules and regulations in using their hotel amenities and facilities, they have allowed number of guests who can use their pool and maybe for the gym also, even in availing your breakfast you have to pay for your kids below 12 years old for which in other hotel it is usually free for one child. Those rules & regulations is really new to us, we've been to some hotels in Dubai and we didn't had any problem and issues like we had fom Centro Al Manhal Hotel by Rotana and this is the first time that we try a hotel here in Abu Dhabi for which we are also living but we are very unlucky of having chose Centro Al Manhal in Airport Road ABu Dhabi to stay because we just got upset, stressed and annoyed in dealing with their staffs. Some of their reception staff really sucks, specially the one who named Shaheen, he really doesn't have manners on assisting the guests, i think he didn't know or understand his job and responsibilities, the first impression of the hotel will must came from them who is in front and the first person that you get in touch upon checking in. We had our booking last June 21, 2014 in room #1013 for one night only, and they checked out our room without informing us, so the time that we will take our breakfast in June 22, 2014 the staff in the restaurant told us that there are no guests in that room already because it is already checked out together with room #1014 for which we didn't know and not related to us the guests that stayed in 1014 and of course me & my husband is the one who paid our room so that is really embarrassed us. So I WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ALL OF YOU THIS HOTEL TO BE...
