I have just returned from a 3 week stay at the Marriott Executive Apartments, Downtown Abu Dhabi, and I couldn't be more happy with how the trip went.|We (3 adults and one 15-year-old) arrived at around 10am, following an overnight flight from the UK. The staff at the check-in desk were very polite and courteous. We could not go directly to our room as it was not ready, but we were able to use the Residents Lounge on the 8th floor. This room was very comfortable and quiet and allowed us to snooze for a bit while our room was being prepared. There were 2 well-kept toilets for our use in there and we could order food from room service, if required (we did not use this facility).|When our room was ready (3 bedroom apartment), we were advised we could use the facilities in the attached Marriott Hotel, which was great. The person who checked us in was very knowledgeable and our luggage was taken up to the room.|The apartment itself was * WOW!!!! * Very clean, well-appointed, and MASSES of space for our family. Both my kids had their own rooms and en-suites so were thoroughly spoiled. |There was a large hallway area with a beautiful powder room off it. This lead to a fully equipped kitchen, with oven, microwave, drinking water dispenser, and dishwasher (dishwasher tablets provided and replenished, when required). There was a slight issue with the door of our dishwasher but hotel maintenance were very quick to fix it, when reported. There was a 4-person table in the kitchen too.|Off the kitchen, there was a small utility room, housing the washing machine/dryer and a storage cupboard. We were provided with small boxes of Tide washing powder during our stay, which was very handy. I did not use the dryer as there was also a drying frame for hanging washing and this is what I prefer to do.|The living room/dining room was ENORMOUS! There was also a workspace in there and ample plug sockets. There were also massive floor to ceiling windows with views over old Abu Dhabi and towards the Al Wahda Mall (5 minute walk away). The TV was huge and we were able to plug in all the tech we wanted too (Maintenance were a great help with this too).|The smaller bedrooms and en-suites were very spacious. Big, comfy double beds, with the same big windows and views as the living area. There was a shower/bath combo, which had no shower screen so it was a bit difficult to control where the water went but my children soon got the hang of it. .|The main bedroom was super-spacious with a huge, comfy bed and blackout curtains (as in all the rooms). There was a separate toilet 'cubicle' and a shower and separate bath. The water pressure was excellent. And the double sink was a great bonus. There was a hairdryer in the main bedroom. It was excellent - very powerful with a concentrator nozzle so, I didn't regret leaving my hairdryer at home. There was only one in the apartment but I would imagine you could get another if you contacted reception.|Towels were clean and soft and the rooms were serviced daily to an exceptional standard. Toiletries were provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, handwash) but there is also a Lulu Hypermarket in the Al Wadha Mall, which has EVERYTHING you could possibly want/need, and is great for groceries too.|The only negative thing I would say about the rooms (and it's definitely not a deal-breaker) was the lack of mirrors. There were dressing tables in all bedrooms BUT no mirror to use. There were also no full length mirrors in the apartment, despite being plenty of wall space to hang them on. But this definitely would not put me off staying again.|We went to The Brown Lion Pub at The Marriott Hotel quite a few times during our stay and were REALLY impressed with all the staff there. They were super-helpful, very informative and the ambiance in the place was very welcoming and friendly. This pub is definitely a must-visit if you are staying in the apartments.|I can honestly say that I was VERY sad to be leaving this property. The level of service, the facilities provided, the food choices. Everything! This made our stay so special. I can't wait to return!!!! (I apologise that I did not get any names - you were...

Staying at the Marriott Hotel in Abu Dhabi was an extraordinary experience that truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a level of hospitality that set the tone for my entire stay. The staff was incredibly attentive, professional, and always eager to go the extra mile to ensure that every guest felt valued and well-cared for.
The rooms were a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, impeccably clean, and beautifully furnished with a modern yet warm ambiance. I particularly appreciated the panoramic views of Abu Dhabi's skyline, which were breathtaking at all times of the day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful sleep after a day of exploring the vibrant city.
The dining options at the hotel were equally impressive. Each restaurant offered a diverse menu with delicious dishes that catered to all palates, from traditional Middle Eastern cuisine to international favorites. The breakfast buffet was a standout, with a vast selection of fresh and high-quality options.
What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional level of service. Every interaction with the staff was positive, and they were always willing to provide recommendations, arrange transportation, or assist with any special requests. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, including a stunning pool area, a well-equipped fitness center, and a relaxing spa that provided a perfect retreat from the bustling city.
In conclusion, the Marriott Hotel in Abu Dhabi is an oasis of luxury and tranquility in the heart of the city. It is an ideal choice for anyone seeking comfort, elegance, and a memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning on my next visit...
Read moreWe chose to stay at the Marriott Exec Apartments whilst in the city for the F1. We were a family of 4, and with two 17 year old with us space and privacy was important! The apartments suited us perfectly. Oodles of space, the boys had a double bed each and their own en-suite. Views were great from the floor to ceiling windows and there is a well equipped full kitchen too if you needed it. Our only critique would be that the second ensuite needs a shower screen as the dividing wall just doesn't come out far enough to stop the floor getting drenched and there is a serious lack of mirrors! A full length mirror in the hall or living area would be useful.||Facilities are good as you can also use those at the main hotel which is all connected - no need to step outside. Boys enjoyed the gym and the roof top pool is small but perfectly adequate and again, great views!||All the staff we encountered were exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly those at breakfast. ||Location is good. We chose this hotel based on the apartment style accommodation and the price, it was a good 40 minutes by car to Yas Island but hotels there were crazy money for F1 weekend! However if you are wanting to get around all of Abu Dhabi it's fairly central so worked well for us as we were here for 5 nights and visited the Corniche, the Aquarium etc. As it's not a terribly "touristy" area there are no restaurants nearby, just a lot of fast food outlets and a mall across the road with a food hall in it. ||We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it if you have older children and need more space than a...
