The events that transpired during my stay, particularly concerning a room service order and the subsequent handling of my complaint, were entirely unacceptable and compromised my sense of safety and well-being.On 31st of May 2025 around 22:35, I contacted the reception to request a simple order of watermelon. I was then transferred to the restaurant, where I placed my order.To my dismay, the waiter who delivered the order brought an entire fruit platter, which I had explicitly not requested. When I tried to clarify the error, the waiter exhibited an appalling lack of professionalism, using disrespectful language and shouting at me.The situation escalated to a deeply unsettling degree when the waiter attempted to forcefully enter my room, pushing against the door.This aggressive behavior, coupled with the knowledge that hotel staff possess extra keys, created a significant sense of insecurity. I felt genuinely unsafe, concerned that the individual might attempt to enter my room without my consent.Furthermore, the waiter then demanded I pay 80 AED for the unsolicited fruit platter.Immediately following this alarming incident, I reported the matter to Mr. Khisra at the reception.Regrettably, despite his assurances that the issue would be addressed, I witnessed no tangible resolution or follow-up. This lack of action reflects a concerning disregard for guest concerns and a failure to effectively de-escalate a distressing situation.The overall experience demonstrated a severe lapse in customer service standards and a disturbing indifference to guest safety and satisfaction. Read moreI recently had the opportunity to stay at the Grand Villaggio Hotel, and I'm sad to say that my experience left a lot to be desired. The primary reason for my disappointment was a persistent bathroom leak issue.
From the moment I checked in, I noticed the bathroom had a leak that not only created an unpleasant odor but also rendered the room uncomfortable. I promptly reported the issue to the hotel staff, and a technician was sent to investigate. Despite their attempts, including the replacement of the shower head, the leak persisted, and the problem remained unresolved.
Regrettably, the hotel was unable to offer a solution that would allow me to continue my stay in a comfortable and safe environment. Consequently, I had to leave earlier than planned, resulting in an unused night for which I was not refunded.
I want to emphasize that the hotel staff was courteous, and the service was satisfactory aside from this issue. However, the persistence of the bathroom leak and the inability to address it effectively left me with no other choice but to check out early.
I am sharing this review in the hope that the management of Grand Villaggio Hotel takes this feedback seriously. While I appreciate the effort to address the problem promptly, the lack of a lasting solution and the absence of a refund for the unused night left me dissatisfied with my stay.
I believe that a comfortable and safe environment is paramount when staying at a hotel, and this experience fell short of my expectations. I hope the hotel management can take steps to rectify these issues and ensure a more pleasant stay for future guests.

Read moreI entered as walkin and check the room rate at receptionist on which he said only suite room is available and offered me rate of 350Aed , i ask for deluxe room but he said its not available and when went out to have dinner and came back again and check if he have any deluxe cancelation or availability but he gave me same answers that only suite room with 350 Aed is available. I accepted the deal and handedover my emirates id to make reservation , i waited for 20minutes and i dont know what he was doing with the system! After wasted my half an hour , the clock time was 10:30pm he told me delux room is in 350 aed not suite which boiled my blood and he was not ready to change anything. Then i ask for manager and a supervisor came with hands in pent pockets telling me “Look , he (recep) is new guy and rate pay 450 for suite otherwise go! Then a security guy came saying i am FOM what is ur issue ? Overall it was like a Mafia House where they dictate and u have to listen even if they had made mistake . When i ask for GM contact . They laughed and said GM dont care for such pitty silly things. I wonder how is hotel operation working.i advice tourist from allover the Globe who are visiting abu dhabi , dont even think to step inside this hotel or face the reception team.
