Our stay at the Marriott Hotel Downtown Abu Dhabi was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, professionalism, and a level of care that made us feel truly valued.

Nuriya checked us in with grace and efficiency, making the process smooth and welcoming. Her friendly demeanor set the tone for a stay filled with thoughtful service. Indra kindly took our luggage upstairs, treating our belongings with care and offering helpful guidance as we settled in.

We stayed in an amazing junior suite that truly felt like a home away from home. The space was incredibly generous, with sofas, armchairs, a chaise longue, and plenty of room to move around comfortably. It was the kind of suite that invites you to unwind and stay a while—elegant yet cozy, with thoughtful design touches that made it feel luxurious without being overdone.

The bathroom was L-shaped and impressively spacious, featuring two entrances, a stand-in shower, a bathtub, and a separate toilet and bidet. There were plenty of mirrors, which added to the sense of space and light. Everything was spotless and well-appointed, making it a pleasure to use each day.

Our room was always beautifully maintained—clean, fresh, and inviting. Hatim from housekeeping was especially courteous, personally bringing items to our room when needed and always greeting us with kindness and professionalism.

Breakfast was a daily highlight. The selection was impressive, with a rich variety of dishes from around the world—especially Asian options that were flavorful and beautifully presented. From steaming dumplings and stir-fried noodles to fresh pastries, fruits, and hearty hot dishes, every morning felt like a culinary journey. The juices were vibrant and refreshing, and the hot drinks, including expertly brewed coffee and aromatic teas, were served just the way we liked them.

Glenda was an absolute star. She remembered exactly what me and my children enjoyed and made sure we were looked after every single morning. Her attentiveness and warmth made breakfast feel personal and comforting. The entire breakfast team was outstanding—always proactive, kind, and genuinely caring. Even the restaurant manager took time to greet us and express appreciation for dining there, which added a lovely personal touch.

Throughout the hotel, every staff member we encountered was courteous and respectful. Whether passing in the hallway or interacting at the front desk, their friendliness and professionalism were consistent and sincere.

A special mention must go to the hotel manager, whose leadership is clearly reflected in the seamless operation and exceptional service across the property. The staff work together with harmony and pride, and it’s evident that they’re supported by a manager who values excellence, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. The atmosphere is one of calm confidence and genuine hospitality—something that can only be achieved through strong, thoughtful management.

The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with elegant interiors, a peaceful ambiance, and a level of comfort that made it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. It’s not just a hotel you want to stay in—it’s a hotel you want to come back to.

I have been fortunate to discover this beautiful property during my business travels, and I must say it has truly set a new benchmark for hospitality. As someone who frequently travels for work across various countries, I can confidently state that my stay here has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had — and in many ways, it has surpassed all my previous top-tier stays.

From the moment I checked in, the staff have been nothing short of amazing — warm, attentive, and consistently going the extra mile to ensure both my comfort and that of my colleagues. The level of hospitality we received was beyond measure, and it genuinely felt like a home away from home.

Front Desk Supervisor: Ahmad (from Egypt) – truly the guardian angel of my stay. Grounded, dependable, and genuinely one of the best in the business. Ahmad's consistent support and care made a world of difference — he was always there when I needed assistance, and often before I even had to ask.

Room Service: Usama and Sebin – both have been absolutely wonderful.

Kuzbara Morning Breakfast Team: Jay, Lakshi, and Sayida – every morning began with warmth and exceptional service. The team not only delivered consistently but also remembered my preferences and made sure everything was perfect. A special shout-out to Jay, who was absolutely on top of his game in personalization — his attention to detail and ability to make every breakfast feel tailored just for me was truly remarkable.

Marriott Never Disappoints!

I had decided to stay for 1-night stay at this property given it was a 5-star and had good reviews online.

It was my first time in this property but not my first time in Abu Dhabi.

The hotel is located in a central, busy location in the downtown area with plenty of malls, restaurants, offices & other hotels close by.

I was welcomed at the reception by a lady called Hayley. Very friendly and warm. She guided me for all relevant things in terms of food, pool timing etc. She offered me a welcome box of dates which were delicious.

Reception offers free refreshing juices to guests which are immensely helpful for anyone coming from the 45+ degree of heat outside.

POSITIVES

(+) Got a corner room at the end of the hallway. Very spacious, clean with ample amount of natural light. Located at the 17th floor

(+) Valet service is available at the hotel entrance so that takes away the hassle of going to & from parking. Although please be mindful that it can take 10-15 mins to retrieve your car by valet team so manage your time accordingly.

(+) The bathroom is well-equipped with all necessary amenities. Bath tub, rain shower, toilet and spacious water bason. All toiletries are provided and are of decent quality.

(+) Given the locality is quite busy, it is advisable to walk around and check the neighborhood. You will find Wahda Mall right oppostite the hotel and many other restaurants (Filipino, Pakistani, Chinese, Indian, fast food etc.)

(+) Staff across the entire hotel is very friendly and cooperative.

(+) The place has a disco bar on the mezzanine floor which has really good drinks offers on select days

(+) Rooftop pool & @25 restaurant are cozy and warm, offering decent food though nothing exquisite.

NEGATIVES

(-) Sound proofing of the room is poor as I could hears door being slammed and people talking across the hallway despite my door being closed.

(-) i had dinner at the rooftop restaurant @25. Since it was my first time, I requested the service team member for recommendation and I was told to order ClubHouse sandwich. As it turned out, the sandwich was bland and below average along with the drink I ordered. I was given a 20% service discount due to the feedback on my bill.

(-) The bath tub inside my room had drainage issue due to which water got clogged every time I used it. Made the complaint once and the maintenance guy came to fix it. However, it happened again on my second usage.
