Hi, I just want to put my sentiments here regarding Vendome and I hope the service will improve. I know its not the receptionist fault mostly but the experience from the booking up to check in is really not good, in any of the hotels we tried in Dubai for 6 years now.||Just for context and I hope your manager Mr. Vikraut will understand where my frustrations is coming from and since you are a manager, you should be able to talk to your customer well and able to assist them specially we are booking a long stay from you and the guest is coming from a 9 hrs flight? You are working on a hospitality field at the first place.||I booked 2 rooms for 6 nights, booking confirmed from Agoda since OCT 15. Fully paid since Dec 26 (2.3k aed). I called the hotel 3 times mostly for requesting connecting rooms which is fine if you don't have but at least from those call all the problems we had today should be able to be fixed early and not when we are checking in.||Issue #1 : Agoda didn't send you the booking voucher since they sent it from an old email address. This is fine, we fixed it. All good. After this you processed the check-in and you even printed the receipt.||Issue #2: You are asking me for a supplementary payment of 400 aed for 31st and 1st due to new year (i dont have issue paying you this). Since this is not in the booking terms and condition, and my booking total amount is paid already with all included taxes and charges, I need at least an explanation of what I'm going to pay since I have another hotel booking in tulip hotel and there is no such fee. But instead I think this is where the hotel or your Manager decided to give us an issue instead of trying to assist their guest.||Issue #3: Suddenly, your manager said Agoda cancelled our booking on the spot. We called Agoda and they confirmed they didn't canceled anything hence it was fully paid and confirmed since Oct. Even Agoda is confused of what your manager is saying.||Bottom line, you asked me to pay the difference fee of 920 aed which is not in the Agoda system and I fully paid with. These hidden charges you asked us since you updated your system (that even Agoda doesn't accept as a valid reason) is where my frustration is coming from, you should have told me this when I was calling your hotel to inquire about the booking, its very not normal to do it on the spot where we waited almost 2 hrs to get check-in, and suddenly got canceled by you during checkin process, considering a 9hrs flight.||Things happen, its holiday season but I just want you to fully understand such frustrations, lost of trust and time we had today. We are hoping to give our guest a good impression of Dubai and your hotel so we can even recommend Vendome.||I hope in the future you will be able to handle your guest well without any discrimination. Cannot open the room for the first time we tried to open. They said key card is not working. They told us to ask reception to open when you leave and comeback.
They will keep and take your Emirates ID and you can only get it when you checkout. In other hotels they will only scan and copy your Emirates ID.
There is no towels ready in the room you need to call the reception to get it. And they know we are two persons they only gave one towel!
There is no phone in the room you need to go to the hallway to call the reception which is ridiculous.
And there is no endorsement when we come back to reception they said we want to check in? We need to get the key because it is not working.
Bath tub is for kids only!
There is no floor-mat or floor towel in the bathroom. The water will be everywhere when you take shower and slippery.
The reception guy named ALI is very rude. Did not even let my brother, who even booked for us and he paid with his card, go up for a minute to assist me. While you can see people just come and go from the hotel entrance not knowing who are visitors! And his a LIAR he said the key is not working that we need to ask reception to open the door! But when we came back to hotel another receptionist just gave another key card!
And the other guy just next to him let my brother wait for a long time just to give a not working key card. You can even hear him just watching a video in his mobile!
And since its summer and very hot outside the AC is not working properly!

Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel in Dubai and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The hotel was not at all what it appeared in the photos and I found the lobby and rooms to be in poor condition and extremely dirty. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the unclean state of the lobby, which was cluttered and littered with debris. I had high hopes for my room, but was sadly met with the same level of neglect and disrepair. The furniture was stained and broken, and the floors were sticky and unclean. To make matters worse, I noticed that there were bugs crawling around in my room, which was a huge red flag for me and made me question the overall sanitation of the hotel.
During my stay, I found that the hotel staff were unresponsive and unhelpful, and I had to call multiple times to request basic amenities like fresh towels and clean sheets.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The poor condition of the rooms and lobby, combined with the bug infestation and unresponsive staff, made for an extremely unpleasant and hazardous stay. I believe that this hotel is in serious need of renovation and improved sanitation practices, and I would advise anyone considering a stay here to look for alternative accommodations.
