An authentic pizza joint that is very social and also good for a date , the staff were super friendly but more importantly very professional , well trained and know their food and highly trained to have a pleasant night out , The pizza is "Different" from any similar pizza spots I tried in dubai , it is well prepared of good components , sauce and toppings are well chosen and the pizza tastes "Italian by true means , the atmosphere is quite good and vintage in a way , a nice touch from the more over modernised restaurants in Dubai , in part very fit to the one of the oldest hotels in Dubai where it is located , you can also have a walk around other iconic restaurants which are fairly full on weekend nights , so reservation is advised , if you are a Marriotte Bonvoy member then you will be treated to your membership , will come back as I guess this place is full of regulars and fans of its original Italian pizza

Casa Mia is one of the oldest Italian restaurants in the UAE, charming diners with its delightful countryside Italian vibes. The ambiance instantly transports you to a cozy Italian village, making it an inviting place to enjoy a meal. To start, I ordered the Rocca Salad, topped with fresh tuna and avocado. It was simply amazing—light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. For my main course, I chose the classic Penne Alfredo. While the sauce was rich and creamy, the chicken was unfortunately a bit chewy, which took away from the overall experience. The salmon was good but slightly overcooked, leaving it less tender than I would have hoped. On a positive note, the service was fantastic. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. Additionally, Casa Mia offers an impressive selection of wines, particularly for those who enjoy red or rosĂ©; their recommendations are spot on.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since my childhood in the late 90s, and it used to be a place I cherished for its amazing food, great service, and warm atmosphere. Unfortunately, it has completely gone downhill. The food is now bland and poorly prepared, very unorganized staff, and the quality is just terrible. The staff were trying their best yeah but it’s nowhere near the expected service that must be presented. making the whole experience even worse. To top it all off, i have been waiting for more than 45 mins just to get the starters and 1.5 hours for my main , the excuse was that they were busy and its not even 50% full. It’s heartbreaking to see a place that once meant so much now become so horrible in every aspect. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone anymore.

Having been a loyal customer of Casa Mia for the past 15 years, it is disheartening to recount the poor experience we had during our recent visit on Saturday night. We have always enjoyed the food and the welcoming atmosphere, which is why we return at least once or twice a month, often bringing friends along as well.

Unfortunately, this visit fell far short of the high standards we have come to expect.

Upon being seated, we were left unattended for a considerable amount of time—15 to 20 minutes—without so much as an acknowledgment from the staff.

It was only after we flagged someone down that we received a bread basket, but the table was ill-prepared to accommodate it.

There were no cutlery, napkins, or bread and butter plates available, which necessitated another round of requests to the waiter.

Despite having to repeatedly ask for basic dining essentials like knives, cutlery, and napkins, the service remained indifferent. One particular staff member, Vijay, was approached multiple times with simple requests, yet the responsiveness and attentiveness were severely lacking. He was extremely laid back and did not show any interest in serving us or even acknowledging our requests.

This level of neglect is particularly surprising and disappointing given our long history with the restaurant. As regular patrons, we expect a certain level of service and recognition, especially on a busy night.

It’s understandable that restaurants can have off nights, but the fundamental aspects of hospitality were missed entirely during this visit.

While the food has always been commendable, the service we received this time significantly marred our dining experience.

We were very disappointed and this experience will deter us from coming in the future or bringing any friends to the restaurant. If we are treated like this, we certainly don’t want to bring our guests to a place where there is no recognition or appreciation for loyal customers.

I hope this review serves as constructive feedback and that the management takes steps to address these issues to restore the quality of service that has made Casa Mia one of our favorite dining spots...

Review of Casa Mia Italian Restaurant:

My recent visit to Casa Mia Italian Restaurant left much to be desired. Once a beacon of fine dining in the realm of Italian cuisine, it has regrettably fallen from grace. The deterioration in service was palpable, making the entire experience far from worthwhile.

Upon entering the establishment, it was evident that something had changed. Gone were the attentive staff members ready to cater to every need. Instead, we found ourselves waiting for what seemed like an eternity before a waiter reluctantly made their way to our table to take our drink orders. The subsequent disappearance of said waiter for a significant stretch of time only added to the frustration.

Eventually, another waiter graced us with their presence to take our food order, though the delay had already set a sour tone for the evening. Even a simple request for butter to accompany the bread was met with a noticeable delay.

Our starters, a mix of calamari, prawns, and zucchini, along with a minestrone soup, arrived after an excruciating 40-minute wait. The calamari, far from crispy as expected, lacked the desired texture. To add insult to injury, tartar sauce was conspicuously absent until we flagged down yet another waiter to rectify the oversight.

Moving on to the main course, we opted for the whole oven-baked seabass and lasagna. While the fish itself was passable, it failed to justify the hefty price tag of 450 dirhams. The lasagna, unfortunately, arrived burnt on one side and the meat lacked the depth of flavor that once characterized Casa Mia's offerings.

Overall, it's evident that the quality of both service and cuisine at Casa Mia has plummeted. What was once a favorite spot for Italian fare now feels like a shadow of its former self. The lack of attention to detail and disregard for providing a truly fine dining experience is disheartening. At this point, one might find better service and fare at a mid-priced establishment. Casa Mia has lost its luster, and until significant improvements are made, it's difficult to justify a...
