So I visited this shop with a couple of friends; we have been here a couple of times before, and to be honest, the coffee is actually really decent compared to other places we've been to. However, on this particular occasion, my friend brought her camcorder along to take videos. And although there were no visible signs saying 'no filming' or whatever, one of the employees at this branch felt it was a good idea to publicly humiliate my friend for something she's not aware of. Fair enough, yeah, you have a no-filming policy, but when you don't make that known to your customers and then proceed to treat them like some sort of criminals or misfits or whatever I feel. Personally, I'm not letting this one slide. In addition to that, we have previously ordered white chocolate matcha on some other occasions, and they were wayyyyyyyyy better than whatever was served to us on that day. Safe to say there was no intention to provide a respectable service to her customers. And also a really minor thing I noticed was her passive-aggressive way of calling out my friend's name, which overall, is really disrespectful behaviour. If you don't want to work in customer service, I feel you should go look for some other job you delight in rather than giving customers a valid reason to leave distasteful comments on your shop. Other employees are really friendly (there's a dark-skinned guy who's very friendly). Could genuinely steal my girl, but that's a conversation for another day. It's unfortunate I couldn't get her name, but she's blonde with short hair, and I genuinely hope you do something about her, as it seems to be a repeated behaviour based on the other reviews I read. All in all, a very disrespectful person, and for the sake of the other genuine employees at this branch, please do something about her. Thank...
Read moreI like this company, and I've had great experiences at their Paddington location. However, when I went to pick up a Too Good To Go order at this location, things didn't go as smoothly. Usually, the process is straightforward: you go in, show the app, they give you your goods, swipe the app, and you leave. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I was told I had no order because their app was down. Mr. M did say "no charge," but I was sent to the back of the queue, and I didn't understand why. If this was an error, why not address the issue while I was there in front of the person who calls themselves M?
It's a long story, but on top of the poor management of the situation, I received an attitude when I voiced how I felt about the way I was treated. The whole time I was showing the app on my phone. From what I could piece together, Mr. M had no clue what Too Good To Go was, and he got upset with me for trying to figure out why he was treating me poorly. I didn't get an apology. A customer even approached me when I was sent to the back of the queue, stating that she too had a poor experience with Mr. M. He cannot seem to handle any problem-solving and just reacts with frustration and rudeness towards customers without any accountability whatsoever.
Eventually, some pastries were put in a bag by a staff member, and the app was swiped. If the app was down, why swipe the app at all? I went to the park to eat the pastries, and they...
Read moreMe and my friend went today for drinks just to be mocked and laughed at. My friend went to order her drink first and they were just asking silly questions about her name and they decided to laugh about it after she walked away she told me she was paranoid and I didn’t really think much of it until I went to get my drink. I asked her that I want no ice and she told me they don’t do no ice they do less ice but she told me that rudely and then she asked for my name so I spell out my name because sometimes people find it easier when I spell it out. I literally tell her three times and she keeps asking like I haven’t told her and then when I actually say my name instead of spelling it she’s like you should’ve just said your name from the start, it wasn’t that hard was it. And then I walked away just for her to be mocking about the way I was spelling my name to her colleagues which was disrespectful so they made fun of my friend and me. Where is the respect what customer service is this. This branch needs to find new workers. The lady who served me was black with braids. As you can see below in the reviews there’s more people that have had bad...
