It's been years since I had Fuddruckers and recall THOROUGHLY enjoying a FR burger and fries. The food is as I remembered it, so this review is not about FR food. This is about customer service. I arrived a bit before noon, the sign on the door said it opened at 11. I walked in and there was no one behind the register. As I slowly made my way to the counter I noticed a number of people putting orders together in the kitchen (easily 4, maybe 5). You could tell they were busy with orders and I didn't make an attempt to bother them. I waited way longer than I should have - I noticed at least 5 minutes go by. No one even acknowledged that they saw me, even avoided eye contact when I looked at the kitchen folks hard at work. Finally, a staffer walked in the front door. They walked by me (without looking at me) and were gone long enough to drop the bag they were carrying in the back and came to the registered. When at the registered, I did get a "I need to sign in" before they looked up and asked to take my order. I understood completely and wanted to let her get credit for her arrival at her station. I waited way too long before even being acknowledged. We all understand you are busy, the very least you can do is nod at the client and say "we'll be with you in a moment". I would have walked out, but the first stop I made was to a place that was closed because of short staffing and I was under a time constraint to get...
Read moreGood food, but always have at least one employee completely disregard my family's existance at the register. Today's main event was a cashier that didn't even bother saying anything as we stood for several minutes ready to order, another cashier had to walk clear across the store to help. Also, my 3 year son old found a power outlet hanging from its wires out of the wall under our booth. When I mentioned this to 3 different employees, all of them gave that feeling like they could care less about it.
Update 20 July 17: More of the same exact issues from before... My family walked in and we all gaggled around the empty register for quite a while, then asked a chef if they were even open (at 7pm) he said someone would be with us shortly. A lady eventually walked by on a phone and said she'd get to us in a bit. After that they ended up getting my order wrong, then dumped grilled onions on my burger after I asked them to add the fried onions I paid for and basically brushed me aside. Also, that same electrical outlet is still hanging under the same booth by its wires after a full month has passed since I told them...
Read moreI have nothing but good things to say really. But, I've still got my pros / cons to consider.
Pros: Great food, short wait, clean and awesome staff.
Cons: Asked for well done patties, they came more medium, heavy pink. It's not a place you can go to for the first time and grasp how things work. So, you might feel a little abandoned if you have never been to this place or similar self service businesses.
Biggest reason to bump this straight up to a 5 star was the staff!
I had accidentally left my wedding band on our table and I knew it. It was almost 24 hours gone. 2 out of 3 of the staff was still there and remembered my wife and I left my info and description.
5 hours later got a call, saying the "dish washer" found it. I remembered this gentleman, he was getting our tabled cleared as we were leaving and went out of his way to help my wife with something unrelated.
Needless to say, honest people are hard find, but this specific location is full of...
