Be Aware If You Are Shopping For Appliances at Home Depot in Anderson, SC!! On July 2, 2019 we visited the store and ordered a refrigerator. While it put us in a bind.....we had to wait until July 24th for it to be delivered. (yes 22 days). On July 24th a refrigerator was delivered......the wrong one. The wrong size entirely. The delivery crew(who is a third party) left the refrigerator on our front porch stating, "We are contractors, we can't put it in the house for you." Once we personally got it inside, we discovered it was the wrong size. We called the store immediately and called the delivery truck to come back(but they wouldn't). The store said put the one that does not fit on your porch and someone will pick it up on Monday (July 29). No one came on July 29th (another day of my time wasted), so we moved the first delivery to our garage and plugged it up to use it** Home Depot (Jasmine) says, "We will deliver another refrigerator, a different brand but the correct size on August 2." I agreed to the other refrigerator. On Friday, August 2, the delivery truck arrives and starts to unload a REALLY nice refrigerator ---- that has someone else's name on it. My husband explains that this is not our order. The guys check and guess what....They DO NOT HAVE our refrigerator on the truck. They call their people, I call back to Home Depot AGAIN. This time, their people call me back first. I explained that I wanted a refrigerator(THE ONE I ORDERED) at my home by Monday August 5th. He told me it was not possible and hung up. I spoke with Jasmine AGAIN, who worked on the matter and said "The best I can do, is have it delivered on Wednesday, August 7th". August 7th is 36 YES 36 days after we had originally ordered this PLAIN Ordinary side by side refrigerator. The correct refrigerator was delivered on August 7th. Keep in mind the first delivery is STILL in my garage, because no once came to get it when they were supposed to. Jasmine asked me, "What can we do to make this better?" I said, "The correct refrigerator, and maybe a gift card as an apology." We got the refrigerator and nothing else- no discount, nothing. On August 8th, with NO notice, the delivery company shows up to collect the first refrigerator delivered. Luckily, one of my children was passing by and was able to open the garage door for them.....but ZERO notice. So let's count here, this refrigerator has taken up 3 days for us PLUS the surprise pick up. We got the refrigerator, but I ask you Home Depot.....can you afford to miss 3 days of work and go without a refrigerator for this amount of time? Do you think this is the way clients should be treated Home Depot? And by the way for those who stop to read this review, the delivery truck drivers(third party company) stated, "Home Depot has no business selling appliances. This happens all the time.    Read moreReason for bad review I drove a half hour to come buy a saw like other items I have come for inventory was wrong. Anderson SC store map brings up Cumberland MD. Who knows what store the inventory is from? The app says 3 the CSR says 4 and we have hunted half the store and haven’t found any. This may be the 4th trip wasted this year please get a coder to fix the website. It’s wrong and put the stuff you can’t find in one dept so I may have a chance of wasting less time 30min to an hour every trip. Employees tried to help. Yep wasted trip. So just went back into the store map now the aisle is 47 bay 4 and the store map is for Dearborn MI. Added a photo trying to work with a manager to get this issue fixed. I’m sick of hearing I can drive 30 min in another direction and check a store that may have the same issue and calling first when asking for help in person did not work? Not helpful. My best guess the location cookie grabbing software is defunct and if you would just take a persons word they are going to the store selected life would be so much better.
Update: the inventory was wrong and most likely pulled from another store. They picked up the saw for me at another store and I believe they are working on correcting this issue. They will probably discover some stores have what they miss on their shelves and maybe they will trade off with other stores and fill those gaps. Thanks to Jasmin and the other manager that actually picked up the saw for me. Also thanks to all the employees along the way that searched for the saws showing in stock. I will keep this up a little longer for people that may be experiencing difficulties getting items showing in stock as I think the automated system that orders has a glitch. People in hands on inventory and order know what’s in there store a national data base knows it’s somewhere but maybe have the wrong stores with a single glitch or keystroke in coding.

   Read morePlaced a special order for windows on 5/29/20. Wanted frosted glass because the windows were going to be installed in our bathrooms. Window specialist triple checked order before I left and said that everything looked good..even highlighted order form to demonstrate that windows would be obscured (frosted). Was told that windows would likely be ready in 2 weeks. Called the store 2 weeks later, was arrogantly told that windows would not be there until 7/10/2020. 7/10/2020 I called to see if windows had arrived and was told that they had not. Windows did not arrive until several days later. My husband goes to pick windows up- stands in line for 30 minutes along with several other people while employees chat back and forth trying to figure out whose car a service technician from Piedmont Honda is dropping off. Husband notices windows are not correct- is told that he must reenter line in order to return items. ( both windows had frosted glass at the bottom and unfrosted glass at the top). 8/7/2020- I take windows back to store to return. Explain all of the above to store manager, Kendrick after another employee tries to unsuccessfully return items for 15-20 minutes. He basically tells me that I am lucky to even be able to return items at all since they are special order and that I will have to forfeit a 15% restock fee to return items. My husband and I have spent thousands of dollars at this store, but after all of our most recent experiences with poor customer service and basically being punished for returning items after the window specialist was CLEARLY told exactly what I wanted, we will not be back. Our business will definitely go to Lowes from now on! Also tried to call corporate...what a joke! They obviously dont care about poor customer service either since I was told to speak with the store manager about the issues! This company has showed me that they obviously DO NOT value their customers!...
