Georgian House Bed and Breakfast — Hotel in Annapolis

My husband and I had a wonderful overnight stay at the Georgian House Bed & Breakfast. Imagine spending the night in a 260 year old home once used by three of Maryland’s signers of the Declaration of Independence!

The Georgian House Bed & Breakfast is a prime location a block from the heart of downtown, which allows you to easily walk everywhere you want to explore. Parking is at a close offsite garage. You can load and unload your bags outside the house. The owners, Ann and Tom, provide a voucher which discounts the parking garage fee.

Ann and Tom are gracious, accommodating hosts. We needed to purchase a bouquet of flowers upon arrival for a special occasion that night. Ann not only recommended the perfect place to get them, she offered up a vase and stored them in the guest library’s refrigerator.

Ann’s homemade breakfast was outstanding. She changed her menu at the last minute to accommodate my husband’s food preferences which was extremely thoughtful.

We stayed in the Samuel Chase Room which has a private deck overlooking the gardens. The room was lovely, the private bath spacious, and the bed comfortable. Most important, the room was well controlled temperature wise by central air and a ceiling fan. This was critical as we visited when the heat index was in the 100s!

Our stay at the Georgian House in Annapolis was absolutely lovely. Traveling with a group of five, we booked the Thomas Stone Suite and the Samuel Chase Room—both were immaculate, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable. The warm water showers and charming details throughout the house made us feel right at home.||Breakfast was delicious, and I especially enjoyed having coffee and conversation with the owner afterward. She generously shared stories about the house’s rich history, the ins and outs of running a B&B, and her own family’s connection to the property. It added such a personal and memorable touch to our stay.||The Georgian House also had a great collection of brochures and local tips, which helped us plan the rest of our trip. One standout recommendation: don’t miss the Schooner Woodwind sunset sailing tour—it was a highlight of our visit!||The location of this B&B is perfect - right next to the big parking garage and a block away from all the sites and shops near the water.||We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and welcoming place in the heart...

Visited this B & B while in Annapolis over the holiday and this B and B IS the best! The host, Ann treats everyone like part of the family. She opens her door for the best experience one could imagine.|The Georgian House has luxurious rooms which are decorated with the finest appointments. The daily gourmet breakfast is truly gourmet, and can be customized to your preference. However, the highlite of this trip was the AMAZING shower!!! After |surviving the Annapolis humidity with treks to the Naval Academy, St. Michaels, Sandy Point Beach and other attractions, the Georgian House shower was absolutely the BEST!
