Food was subpar, and lacking flavor. The crab dip was fine— it was pretty tiny though. The handheld pizzas could use a little love and flavor. We got the veggie one, the Cove (that came with tiny shrimp) and the margherita. The margherita was the best one. I ordered the “oven roasted turkey” sandwich and it came with cold deli meat. Not only was it not “oven roasted” but it was literal deli meat straight from the fridge and I would venture to say even the grocery store. When I told my server, she agreed that the title was misleading but then proceeded to say unfortunately they could not remove it from my bill because I had eaten some of it. I had literally two bites, mind you— to try it! I asked for the manager, she said he’ll come over. A few minutes later she said he’s finishing up making drinks and then he’ll come over. After about 10 minutes she finally said “my manager is too busy to come over so we’ll just take it off the bill” and then walked away abruptly. lol 🤷🏽‍♀️ There were like 3 people at the bar (who had been there) and maybe 3 tables. A party that was wrapping it. I think the manager could’ve made time, if even just a minute or two, for an unhappy customer but I guess that wasn’t a priority. Anyway, not sure why there are so many raving reviews about the food. Perhaps we went on a bad day but it was a Saturday at lunch time! I wouldn’t return. As far as the atmosphere— I mean it’s kind of pub like, dark wood, centralized bar, wall of...

We really were excited and wanted so badly to like it. The menu was great and the atmosphere was cozy. But then we got the worst waitress I've seen in years.

She clipped the wine glass against my water glass, it shattered and its entire contents (red Zinfandel) spilled all over my dress and soaked down through to my bra and underwear. She just stood there. No apology whatsoever. I had to ask for napkins! I was covered in red wine. All she said was a brief explanation on how the glass shattered.

The entire rest of the night was so awkward. She acted like it never happened! It was like she was in denial or just didn't care. No apology. No offer to comp our meal. No offer to pay a cleaning bill. It was so uncomfortable we decided to cut the evening short.

Without commentary or an apology, they only comped the flight and one cheese.

It is so rude to not apologize for spilling red wine on someone, no matter where it happens! And especially at a restaurant.

The fact only a portion of the meal was comped - without any acknowledgement of what happened- was also offensive.

Had she just apologized all would have been forgiven. I know I acted shocked when it happened, but I did not yell or raise my voice. I tried to keep my response as light hearted as possible, assuming she felt guilty.

Apparently she felt nothing at all.

We will...

My sister and I stumbled upon this place randomly looking for somewhere to stop for drinks and a quick bite to eat and we were impressed. First, the restaurant itself was cozy and dim-lit. Perfect for a chill evening.

Next, the bartender was super friendly and funny. He did a great job of making sure we were taken care of despite having a packed bar. We both love wine and got wine flights - I got the Bulls on Parade (Big Bold Bad A** Reds) and she got the Intriguing Whites (Off the Beaten Path Whites). The written descriptions of the wines were perfect and we enjoyed learning about the wines that we were drinking. The bartender was very knowledgeable about all the wines and even gave us outside recommendations based on the ones we liked. He also gave us a taste of a new wine that they were introducing for the sweet wine lovers, which I am not but my sister is so she liked that one too.

Lastly, we both got the Seafood Cobb Salad and it was DELICIOUS! It was huge and we just knew we wouldn't finish it but we couldn't stop. Of course, they did not bring us enough dressing for all of that salad but we asked and they brought us each 2 more ramekins of dressing. The service and food were great. I've been thinking about that salad ever since but want to try other things on the menu so I'll definitely...

Wow! What a great place. I contacted Red, Red Wine when planning a Galentine's Day Happy Hour gathering for our retired womens' group. Lisa replied by email and was very accommodating. When I arrived a bit early, they helped me to set up. Sara was the bartender/server this afternoon, and she did an amazing job of keeping eight different orders straight. Their happy hour drink and food specials are delicious and very reasonable. The daily wine specials were a great value for $5. The individual size crab dip was really yummy, as were the brussel sprouts. I have been planning happy hour events for a year for our group, and this place definitely gets my vote for best Happy Hour around Annapolis.

Came here for the first time last night. It's a cute wine bar with a lively vibe. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Had a live band and tvs near the bar area. The drink selection is large for wine of course but they do have cocktail and beer options. The staff was friendly and checked on us plenty. The food options are good too and there are some vegetarian/vegan options as well. The noise level is pretty high but I think that's to be expected in a lively bar environment. Street parking can be an issue but there are several parking garages a couple or few blocks away. Overall I'd say this is a great date night spot or one for friends to gather.

This bar / restaurant has a ton of personality, all of it good. The food is upscale in the ingredient combinations and plating while still being regular bar prices. The wine flights have a good selection and also priced well. They've decorated early for the Christmas season and temporarily renamed to the Red Jingle Bell Bar with a christmas decoration explosion throughout. Its not the type of place you would expect to find in Annapolis, or really most of Maryland - it reminds me of the well established bars in Boston.
