Capital Comics — Local services in Annapolis

I wish there were more stars to give. I stopped in here while I was in the area for the day and I can't say enough good things about the shop and the owner. The shop is fantastic. It has an excellent selection of trades and hardcovers and all of your current single issue needs.

In my opinion, the owner is what really makes a comic shop; and Billy at Capital Comics sets the standard. I planned on a quick visit but ended up hanging out for about 30 minutes having an awesome conversation with Billy about the comic business and some of our favorite writers and books. Owners who show a genuine interest in what their patrons like are what keep me coming back to local shops and Billy is one of the best I've encountered.

If I lived in the area, I would set up my pull list with Capital Comics in a heartbeat. I absolutely plan to stop in here whenever I'm in Annapolis..or even close for that matter.

If you live in the area, I implore you to support a true local comic shop with an owner who cares and bring your business here rather than some of the other bigger shops in the area. You won't regret it!

Fantastic locally owned business! Small shop but crammed full with books of all types - standard single issue shelves (older and new releases), graphic novels spanning all genres, other books on unique and interesting topics from a wide variety of authors, some table top RPG books (D&D, Pathfinder) and related graphic novels, children’s picture books for multiple ages and topics, and a few of interest toys for children and adults. I didn’t have time to look at all available items in the 30 minutes I spent there, I’d love to return to explore more.

Wheelchair accessible but not a lot of room to maneuver. There’s a small lip to get into the store that requires either a push or some momentum or muscle to get into the shop. A single stroller fit with us...

Stumbled upon this store today while on a day trip to Annapolis. Was immediately struck by how incredibly diverse the selection was. There is literally something for everyone. Kids books, graphic novels, comics, non-fiction, fiction, anthologies, historical, new issues — whoever is cataloguing this store is doing an exceptional job. We settled on a beautiful Black Panther anthology and a Bluey sticker book for our daughter. We met the store manager when we were there and had a wonderful chat with him. He was a pleasure to meet and gave exception service and suggestions. We try to get to Annapolis a few times a year, and this will be added to our list of “must go” locations when...
