It was a brief day trip for leisure. The staff were very fast to check us in, very helpful and excellent free parking. Bed was clean and comfortable. Had a fridge and microwave and good tv stations.
The location is easy walking distances to shops and the boardwalk. I went with my partner but I would have felt safe even alone. The area was safe and had cameras. Very diverse area for all sorts of interests and it’s has the essentials if you really just want ton be out and about and not much time in the room.
I just wish that the management might’ve update the rooms a bit more. Although it was clean the appearance of very old toilet seat stains were very worn out looking like 10 years old, the door to outside rubber strip was a near inch missing- not good for little critters to come in the room under the door gap. ( it was a clean but the worn look made it look not clean even though it was clean) The Kleenex box holder was broken old plastic look like from the 70s, and better just to replace or remove it. The walls were uneven plaster, cracks, poorly kept. The walk through entrance can be updated with fresh paint and simple inexpensive decor. One of the balcony patrons poured all their cooler water over the railing onto the sidewalk and I was lucky and just missed it.
I know that their price was the lowest and best in that area but for $300 night (summer) would have liked to feel a bit more comfortable or inviting with just a few updates. Overall I had a very good experience and would stay again just hope they improve a...
Read morePLACE/ROOM (7/10): The hotel is alright for its class. I mean, what more do you expect? It’s relatively cheap and it does the job. The room was clean enough, although behind the nightstand things were looking a little abandoned. Still, the place felt spacious and not suffocating.
PRICE (8/10): Decent price for what you get. No surprises here.
SERVICE (6/10): They slapped a $100 hold on the card at check-in. Not a fan of these surprise policies. Hopefully they don’t decide to keep it for finding a fingerprint on the mirror.
ATTITUDE (7/10): Nothing extraordinary. Staff didn’t go out of their way, but didn’t annoy me either. Call it neutral.
CLEANLINESS (6/10): Mostly fine. Bathroom towels were tiny like they expected you to pat your face and move on. No proper bath towels. Other than that, room was decent.
ADDITIONAL FEES AND HIDDEN COSTS (5/10): That $100 credit card block. Yeah. Let’s just hope they release it without drama.
OVERALL IMPRESSION: It’s a functional place. Clean-ish, affordable, gets the job done. But definitely not the kind of neighborhood you want to go for a midnight stroll in. Between the sketchy parking lot and the pink-eyed locals roaming around, maybe just grab dinner early and stay inside.

Read moreI'm leaving behind a 5 star review because I believe you get what you pay for. My significant other and I booked this place for one night while attending a concert at the hard rock casino - only needed a place to sleep. Many places were booked out, or quite expensive - we paid 72$ for a Saturday night. The location could not have been better, a short walk from the casino (hard rock & resorts). Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly. I was worried after reading some reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. I never took the elevator, so cannot comment on that. Once in the room, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. They provide you with towels (a little worn, but clean) and some basic shower items. The rooms have been somewhat updated, but the walls are still older... hey, for that price, I'm not going to complain! If you want fancy and updated, look somewhere else and pay more. If you go in with appropriate expectations, you may be...
