The food was good, the service was horrible and now we will not be returning to this buffet ever again, even though it was one of our favorites and we went many times before and often too. We went on Saturday night at 7pm but left mid meal due to our horrible server named Sabeya or something like that who was a middle aged bengali lady with a bun, who worked all the way towards the back near the server station with cutlery. We were sat in the first very visible seat from the server’s station in her section and the host told us she was our waitress. She greeted every single table around us except us. She always tended to them before they even needed anything and asked how they were doing. I think it was because we were South Asians also ourselves she assumed she could get away with treating us poorly. She never came to greet us and we called her everytime ourselves we needed drinks well after they were empty for a long time and she wouldn’t ever speak to us except yell when we asked for a drink as “HUH”. She never approached us herself the entire visit and even when she gave the drinks she forgot the straws and when we mentioned she threw it at us when she got it. We were in her view first thing and she would approach the far tables and go out of her way to help, but when she came near our table she would very obviously ignore us and turn the other way to avoid us. The plates stacked up to like 6 plates for only 2 people, and she still ignored us until a busboy took our plates from a different section because it was getting THAT bad. We usually tip at least 20% even if it’s a buffet, and are always nice as we were this time. We finally had enough and she ruined our whole meal and the vibes and left without eating any dessert and decided to get some ice cream on the way out. It’s funny though because when we were leaving the entire time she never approached us, and when we were at the exit she chased us down across the buffet to ask if we were done our meal and for presumably asking for a tip when she ignored us the entire time. We are not Karens nor post bad reviews usually, but the experience was THE worst in my life so far. I will be making a formal complaint and we will not be returning to this establishment as we don’t want to have this horrible experience again especially considering it was a special occasion for...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Having had the pleasure of dining at the Fresh Harvest Buffet in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City this past Saturday, I am truly amazed and thrilled by my fantastic gastronomic experience. I must say, it was an international culinary tour de force.
The immense variety and abundance of food available were breathtaking. I was particularly impressed by the fresh seafood options, which included shrimp, clams, and oysters, an authentic taste of the sea. The chicken and noodles offered a comforting home-style touch, while the steamed vegetables and green salad were refreshingly crisp and fresh.
The live-action cooking stations, especially the carving stations, provided an exciting theatrical experience, enhancing the enjoyment of my meal. Freshly baked brick oven pizzas and an assortment of dim sum further broadened the culinary canvas. The chefs' skills and expertise are evident in every dish served.
The dessert station was a sugar lover's paradise. The mini cheesecakes, apple cobbler, and other pastries, particularly the eclairs, were an absolute delight, the perfect sweet ending to an extraordinary meal.
To complement the great food, I enjoyed top-notch service. Drinks arrived quickly, and a selection of regular and decaffeinated tea bags, sweeteners, and milk was served with my tea—a level of detail often overlooked in such settings. The courteous and attentive staff were genuinely committed to ensuring a memorable dining experience.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, with comfortable seating arrangements. The price of $37.31 was reasonable, given the quality, quantity, and variety of food on offer.
In the spirit of providing constructive feedback, I would recommend that the management consider publishing current pricing online to facilitate budget planning for potential visitors. Transparency in pricing can only enhance the reputation of this already excellent buffet.

Read moreI appreciate the opportunity to provide my feedback. First and foremost, the food was exceptional, and the staff in both the dining and dessert areas were incredibly friendly and accommodating. However, I would like to address two issues that could enhance the overall experience at the buffet. The hostess, who appeared to be a Muslim woman of Indian heritage, seemed to show discontent while serving different groups. When she interacted with my party, her demeanor conveyed a sense of suspicion, as if we were attempting to take advantage of the situation, despite having just paid for several guests. Her attitude did not embody the warmth and hospitality expected from a hostess, which could deter customers from returning. Given her behavior, I would prefer not to encounter her in that role again, as it negatively impacted my desire to revisit the establishment. Additionally, while I was enjoying my meal, I noticed staff and a manager approaching my table in a confrontational manner regarding an alleged unpaid extra guest. Fortunately, one of our members quickly offered to cover the cost. However, the manager's approach was unprofessional and made us feel as though we were being accused of theft. This experience was particularly disheartening, especially considering that my party is Hispanic. The manager could have handled the situation more discreetly by speaking with the main payer privately to clarify the misunderstanding. In reality, one of the guests who had paid was simply sharing a small taste with a family member and was not taking an extra plate. It was unsettling to feel that the manager and hostess were watching us from the moment we arrived. This situation raises serious concerns about the treatment of Hispanic customers, which is completely unacceptable. It is crucial for upper management to proactively assess their policies and increase the frequency of staff evaluations. Senior management should closely examine the ethical standards related to customer treatment in the hotel. Additionally, Hard Rock Hotel in Atlantic City must guarantee that no establishment allows the mistreatment of any customer seeking...
