Had to clean the bathroom and sink area myself. Tub was nasty!! Had to use a bath towel to stand on in the shower the first night. The toilet still had feces in it and the handle was broken. There were 2 small roaches crawling by the toilet. There was a pile of nasty wet towels left by the tub. I wiped along the top of tub while cleaning and the dust buildup was plenty. After I did that well it left noticable streak on wall to show the difference of filth verses clean. Black mold in air conditioner. Filters were black as well so I cleaned them as I kept sneezing and stale nasty air flow. There was a 1/4 inch cracked under door. The sink all cracked. The microwave was so nasty it even had cheese left on the knob. The refrigerator was froze over and nasty so it wasn't cold enough even on high to keep bottled water cold. Dust so thick and nasty stuff on walls by headboard. Stuff still left in dresser and the whole dresser was filthy as well. I have included a few photos for viewing. Floors so nasty too haven't been mopped in a long time. The beds had not been changed or washed in a while as there were black n nasty on the out side of my bedspread and cigarette holes in the sheets. I asked for clean blanket and spread the 2nd night out of 4 and was told twice that there were no more to give. After I gave the spread to be cleaned It was never returned. I was given an extra sheet for a cover! I only had that to cover for the last 2 nights. My husband going to office each night that we were there only to be given untruths by the assistant manager that the room had been cleaned and we later found out was the manager after she told us there were no more rooms available then the next day wanted us to move after already settled in and I already cleaned the tub myself with with our own cleaning supplies purchased that morning!!. :/ The cleaning maids were using towels to mop with only after we complained were mopping the walkway out side our door. They tell us that the manager will not purchase supplies and they had No Soap to clean with!! I am saddened that my husband who just drove 14 hrs. Straight for business had to constantly ask for things only to be told they had none. I purchased my own cleaning supplies and cleaned tub myself. We did not leave because we did not have the extra funds but I will say we have in the last 7 years stayed here 3 different times under different management and this place was Always clean. I'm saddened that after almost 3 yrs that this could become this bad. The linen carts are broken and falling apart as well. I do not recommend this place but, Everyone has their own experiences.. Read moreThis hotel is absolutely disgusting. Following our check-in, we proceeded to our room, and found that it smelled of cat urine. We tried to overlook this, and simply bought some air freshener from the local Walmart. Upon our return from Walmart, we discovered bedbugs crawling around upon our beds. We immediately went to the lobby and requested a new (identical) room, and presented a photo of the bedbugs to the employee. The employee eventually gave us a new room, which did not smell of cat urine. We were pleased, and after checking under our mattresses for bedbugs, we went to bed. I should probably mention that this particular room had some strange occurrences happen within it (lights turning on when we left the room, sleep paralysis, shadows, etc.); however, this is irrelevant and is not comparable to bedbugs. After waking up at approximately 6am this morning, I observed a roach-looking insect crawling on my best friend’s blanket. Upon closer inspection, I found that it was in fact a VERY large bedbug. After killing the bedbug, red blood began to emerge, meaning that the insect had bitten either my friend or I. We immediately checked out and made a last-minute reservation with the Marriott down the road, but not prior to observing a spider crawling on my best friend’s bed. In addition to the lack of cleanliness, we observed an employee removing mattresses from other rooms (likely to “exterminate” the bedbugs), and leaving them outside. The dryers within the laundry rooms were also all out-of-order. In the first room, we also observed a roach in the shower. Under the beds, there was food from previous visitors as well as an excessive amount of dirt and dust. There were also bloodstains upon the sheets, and holes (cigarette burns) in the comforters. Also, there were no towels within the room, and when we finally received some, they were damp. The outside of the hotel is dingy in appearance as well. You will also have to upgrade from a standard room for a microwave or refrigerator. There were cracks in the sink of the first room, and hair in the sink of the second. Red Roof Inn may be a low-cost hotel, but this particular location is NOT worth it. Do NOT stay here. I would not be leaving this review if the bedbugs had not been present. Read morePaid for our room on 3/26/21 for a week check out was supposed to be on 4/02/21 For a total of $440.72 . The room was booked in my spouses name. We have been staying at this hotel now for about 3 weeks. On 3/27/21 I was woke up by a loud knock at the door at 8am. My spouse answres the door and was confronted by the lady at thw dront desk. She was very rude demanding that we be out of our room in 10 minutes that we were already refunded. For the full 440.72. She refused to give a reason as to why. After packing our car up my spouse went into the office and once again refused a reason why and was told the manager wouldnt be in till monday and refused to call them. After my soouse got in the phone with a local new station the lady at the front desk callrd a lady from house keeping who then came in and looked in the computer and tried to say i destroyed a room i was in weeks prior which was untrue and then changed my refund from 440.72 to 377. Since I questioned why we were asked to go . Even if I had a full refund it would take 7 to 10 business days dor this money to hit my card. She refused to even talkcto house keeping about my room being trashed as she called it. I know without a doubt the room was not trashed. It is complete garbage I was charged a night after being told inwould receive a full refund. Everyday i spend sleeping in my car waiting for either my next pay check or my money to clear in my account so i can book another room for a week i will spend making sure everyone knows the kind of shady business practices this place practices. This is so heartless and wrong the first week My spouse and I stayed here we had ti pay fir a extra day because I was told we booked for 7 days when we booked for 6 days so I paid them for a extra day because the day I was supposed to check out i wasnt even there and they didnt touch my stuff so i paid them for the night they wasnt able to rent the room out as well as make sure when i fot my stuff out the room was cleaned up bit3.
