Oak Grove Inn — Hotel in Branson

The Most DISGUSTING room i have ever stayed in!!! Clearly was not cleaned before they rented it out!!! There was pee all over back of toilet, pubes on the toilet, hair stuck to the sides of shower, mold in the corner of the shower, dirty sheets, toothpaste all over the bathroom tray, floor hadnt been cleaned!!! We were gunna just deal with it considering it is a cheap room and we weren't expecting anything fancy was only there to sleep but when I found the used condom wrapper on the floor when I went looking for my kids sock was when I decided that I had to say something!!! I tried to talk to the owner and got a response with all kinds of attitude as u can see from their other bad review they dont take criticism well lol!!! They said because i didn't come to the office (because I was extremely upset & didnt want to cuss them & had early plans with family coming into town) that they couldn't refund me which is fine didn't really expect them too I was not at all surprised by that!!! but thought id give them a chance to make it right!!! Now i just want others to be aware that the reviews and pictures online are very misleading!!! They do not take pride in their motel or customer service!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We stayed in branson for two nights and moved to the bransinn because there was no way we were going back to that nasty place!!! BRANSINN was lovely super clean friendlier staff and not much more...

I would leave zero stars if able to! We booked two rooms (2 adults & 1 child in one and 2 adults & 2 children in another) through American Forces Travel (both my husband and dad are disabled veterans) for our daughter's 7th birthday trip. We booked it with the kids included. When we went to check in at 8 pm, the lady at the front desk told us we needed to pay additional for each child. (They wanted to add $30+ per child for the night.) We told them no way, and I showed them my booking confirmation. They said their end didn't show the kids on it so it didn't matter what my end showed. After myself, my husband, and my dad all tried talking to them, they agreed to let us cancel the room with no charge. (We had tried to keep the rooms at the amounts our booking confirmation showed.) One of the ladies made the comment, "It's a busy night in Branson so we'll rebook them without a problem." We ended up booking rooms in Springfield. It was frustrating as it was our daughter's birthday and it made for a late night of cake & presents, but I was not going to pay another $100 for the kids to stay there for 12 hours because of an error on their...

We arrived very lately because it's been driving all day it was close to midnight. The front desk staff was extremely polite and informative not over The phone when I called to tell her we would be late and when we arrived. Our room was perfect with the air conditioner already running at a great temperature. Everything was clean and where it was supposed to be. We needed help programming the remote control and even at almost 1:00 in the morning, the front desk attendant was more than happy to come down and help us at the room even though she was dealing with unruly guests that were trying to scam her. All around. A great experience, very inviting people. Breakfast in the morning was great. Had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy waffles toast, muffins, yogurt, milk.
