Disgusting. STAY AWAY. Had not been vacuumed in an extremely long time. Red substance (we're pretty sure it was pizza) smeared on several walls, food on the floor, toilet didn't flush. Switched rooms, desk worker pointed out that the second room AC didn't work (it's July btw). Switched rooms again, third room smelled very strongly of urine. Went back to the first room, wiped the walls with dawn dish soap, wiped the carpet, cleaned everything we could see. Dog found something from some hidden place and was eating it - a large toenail 🤢 Left immediately. Desk worker was very kind and apologetic, probably stuck in his job and knows it's a gross hotel now but has no control over it. (Btw, upon check-in he mentioned that someone else had switched rooms 3 times and then gone back to their original room.)

Simply put, our moving truck was broken into around 11pm while in the parking lot. They cut the lock and went rummaging through everything we owned. The front desk clerk even purposely told me to park my truck where I did because he could see it on a security camera. Another woman had her car windows smashed out and the contents of her car stolen as well. Solidarity, I guess. Once alerted about the damage, the front desk clerk was very apologetic but didn’t offer much more than “I’m really sorry this happened to you folks.” I understand these things happen and aren’t entirely the fault of the hotel, but after that experience you couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

This place isn’t bad if you are just spending the night, if you are stuck here because you broke down it’s not very comfortable since there is no chair to sit in and watch tv just some sort of weird lounge or lay on the bed all day to watch tv Location is great there is a Culver’s right next door plenty of restaurants around a Walmart and a movie theater The free breakfast is nothing to write home about but it gets the job done All long as you like the smell of weed this place is ok. When I was dropped off by Uber as I was getting out of the car an employee walked out the front door and lit a joint

Originally booked for Fri thru Sat night (2/9-2/10). Originally had FriSatcheck out Sun. I thought I scheduled too many days so I modified the reservation. When I called to figure all this out no1 answered the phone. I didn't follow up and that was my mistake.

I get there Fri late like 8. Drive 4 hrs, Check in, go to the show have a good time. The next day I'm getting my card deactivated, I'm getting knocks on my door by housekeeping (this lady was actually genuinely hospitable and y I give a 2 star on service), and then I'm told that I booked one night and that's when I finally realize that the discount I had for the room was also removed when I modified it. The two people at the front flat out told me there was nothing they could do and didn't even seem like they wanted to even help me. Here I am 4 hrs from home, trying to have a nice vacation out of town, and I'm having to do so much work to figure out if I have the room how I thought I was going to.

Plus for the non discounted price of $131.60 the rooms, building, and location suck. For the location you got construction going on across the road and random semis just making a lot of noise in the parking lot. The rooms are far below even adequate, every surface had some sort of stain, resin, or chips knocked out. The toilet seat was smaller than the bowl and there was a loose plank right in front of the toilet that when pressed on made a sound and bubbles of moisture spew up between the cracks. No screen in the window so when I wanted to open it bc the room was hot, I guess I'm just lucky it's not bug season. The locks didn't seem to be maintained right, it would only secure properly when the door is slammed, which i figured out the first time I went to smoke and come back and my door isn't ajar, but not secured (just pulled it open).

Let's just say if I would of got any help, offer of how to get things squared away for me, or even the slightest indication that they wanted my business at all, I wouldn't be making any reviews. I'd really not care so much about the quality of the place if I'd gotten the price I thought I booked at. Which i showed the front desk both the price b4 modifications confirmation and the after modification confirmation. You'd think they'd see I was coming from a place of frustration/genuine need of help and figure some way to reconcile things, but no they assured me they could do nothing for me, not even offer something for booking this 2nd night. So now here I am 4 hrs away from home, sitting in parking lot leaving this review, and waiting for check in at a different hotel.

This not only soured my vacation, but also my opinions on hotels in general. I thought airbnb was supposed to be the less hospitable way to find a room, well after this interaction I'm not sure how that would be...

I’ve never experienced such abysmal service by a hotel as I have by La Quinta. I’ve been involved in youth softball for 5 1/2 years, which includes travel, and never have I ever experienced such a lack of professionalism or care. Let’s start first with a month prior to the stay. Our team was told that we could call and make payments on the room. When I called, not only was I told there was zero record of my reservation (booked in January), but the woman who answered the phone proceeded to throw the booking service under the bus and state that it was all their fault that none of the families who booked rooms had any record of it in their system… it only gets worse. Upon checkin, the two bed room that I booked was discovered to be only a one bed with a pull out couch. Not only that, but the key card stopped working after the first night, and it was told to all of us parents that due to a booking error on their part, we had to go back and get new key cards, as they had to essentially re-book for the remainder of the stay. The pool area had a sign that stated “kids 14 and up” were the only kids allowed without adult supervision. Our group had girls all from 14-16, who were constantly harassed and told to leave and get an adult, despite multiple parents pointing out the sign that states 14 and up allowed without supervision. We have a group of respectful, responsible, college bound athletes who maintain good grades and good attitudes. One of the managers quite loudly trashed our group to another customer and said how awful our group was, and how they wanted to kick us out…. Why, because our key cards all kept failing, and we had to keep getting them reset, due to your error and faulty equipment? Additionally, the pullout bed was not made up, and we had to get our own bedding at checkin and make the bed ourselves. One of the parents was accused of smoking marijuana in one of the rooms by housekeeping…. REALLY?? With a minor in the same room?? Come on. There’s also a grievous safety issue with the side door. It gets stuck and there’s an apparent “trick” to opening it… in the incident of a fire, when people panic, those not privy to this “trick” could cause a disaster. How this has not been corrected by corporate or local safety officials is beyond me, as a faulty egress door is a safety issue. One of the families had ants in their room, and the desk had to be called to remedy the situation. To top it all off, the grout in the shower in my room was dirty and had a black sludge. I will be letting all USSSA softball teams, families, and coaches know to stay far away from this hotel for the next World Series in Columbus, as well as any tournaments in that city. To say that this hotel was a disappointment is an...

I stayed for one night with my two children. Daniel at the front desk was sooo kind, helpful and accommodating. He was seriously the most pleasant person ever. At first I thought this was an indication that everything else would be great, but beyond Daniel, everything else was unpleasant.

Our room had wet carpet, visible mold and the extremely unpleasant smell of it was overwhelming. While beds were pretty comfortable, our sheets, blankets and pillows smelled soooo bad like they had been left in a washer and forgotten about.

The next morning we went to breakfast …nothing was edible though I hadnt expected much. I witnessed who I’m, assuming was some kind of manager or head housekeeping talk pretty rudely to a couple asking where cups were. There was an obvious language barrier, but even I could understand what they were asking for. When she stopped talking long enough to listen, she realized they were asking for cups. This employee was so condescending and belittling to them saying, “cups? Cups…there. Cups…there, cups there.” As she dramatically gestured and laughed pointing to various areas that cups were.

Later, around 9:30 am, we saw the pool door was open but the sign said that it opened at 10 AM. There was a worker there my son asked him if the pool was open and he said not yet . Around 9:45, he said, go ahead and go in. So we went in, and my children jumped in right away. The same rude employee from breakfast came over and started arguing with him and said they can’t go in there its not 10. I guess they figured it out because we stayed and nobody else was in the pool. At around 9:55 to 9:57 AM , the new front desk person rushed into the swimming area. He was raising his arms saying” how did you get in here? How did you get in here? It’s not 10 o’clock. You’re not supposed to be in here yet. Get out.” He then asked what room I was in and when I told him he said well, we’re getting complaints of your dog barking yet there was nobody in the room next to us, but guess who was standing right in front of our door? The same rude female employee.

The front desk man was an older gentleman, kind of overweight, very grumpy and rude. If everybody who worked there was like Daniel, I would go back, but unfortunately that’s just not the case. Daniel is the only reason that I’m giving this...
