I had never been to this McDonald's until today. I also would normally prefer not to rate a place if the service was not to my exact standard. But because the attitude of the entire associates were just unacceptable, I decided I had to and offer some explanations to why. Well, while attempting to place my order at the drive thru, the cashier had a very hard time repeating back my orders for confrontation. And when he finally repeated the orders, For example, after paying for my order of the so-called "veggie" impossible burger, a large fries, and a large coke (no ice), I received the bag of my orders. As I looked in the bag, I noticed that the large french fry box had only few strand of fries in it. When I asked of why there were so few fries, the associate replied by asking if the fries might have fallen into the bags. As he took back the orders to fix the problem, another associate handed me the drink, but the drink appeared to be reddish in color. When I asked of why I am handed a different drink, the associate replied that the drink is the coke. After a few back and forth, he decided to take the drink back and confirmed that it had been a cherry coke after all. He also informed me that they do not have regular coke, and asked if I would prefer a different drink. At this point, I'd decided to take an orange fanta instead. Shortly thereafter, when the drink arrived, it ended up being a coke afterall. The cup was also filled with, atleast, 70% of ice cubes. I poised to have them empty the ice as I had asked for no ice to beginning. But because I feared of a reprisal-possibly with someone spitting in my drink, I decided to just move on without any further confrontation since that was going to be my very last time going to that particular place for a meal. I wish I didn't have to rate this place so badly but I thought it was necessary in hope that the management would give some customer service training to the crew. In an attempt to offer a solution to the problem, I also called the restaurant and spoke with the manager on duty in an effort to show the seriousness of poor customer service. She did offer to replace my order but because of time and distance away from the restaurant, I cannot possibly go back for the correction. I just hope that, moving forward, a better customer service training is given to...
Read moreI like Burger Kings because of their menu choices, and I've come to this one on multiple occasions during my lunch hour at work, simply because they were the closest BK around, but after two experiences I decided to just stop coming to this one and go for a more sure thing.
The first time the drive through was going super slow, but when I pulled up to the window it was obvious why: their ATM/Internet was down so the attendant asked me if I had any cash on me, to which I said I didn't. They proceeded to give me the food for free. I'm willing to pay for my food, and they giving me the order for free was a way to say that they were sorry, but I think before taking my order they should have told me that their POS machine was not working, and then I could have gone somewhere else, get my food sooner and pay for it.
The second time they weren't having issues with their POS, but in the Kitchen instead: after I had given my order and they had taken payment, that's when they told me that my chicken was going to take a couple of minutes extra, so they asked me to pull up on the parking and that somebody would come out with my order. I did so, and waited IN my car for 9 minutes, at which point I decided to go in to see if they had forgotten about me. I think that they had, since when I walked in, I saw the cashier saw me and then moved frantically about to get stuff in my bags, and then sent a poor guy that was limping to give them to me. If they knew that chicken was going to take a little longer, why not be upfront before taking payment? I hear that they have a timer for the car that sits right in front of the window, and therefore track their service, if they ever tell you that it's going to take a while, timer or not, don't move from there, that way for sure they won't forget about you and leave...
Read moreWe are regular customers of this place until last night when we had a problem with Lacrisha or Lakisha’s customer service. We ordered four sandwiches and fries. Two of the sandwiches were completely wrong and different from what we ordered. We went back to the drive thru and asked for a manager. Lakisha said she was the manager. I politely told her that the order was wrong and showed her what sandwiches she gave me when she immediately started getting defensive telling me that I don’t need to show her the sandwiches, just to tell her what I want. I was shocked of the poor customer service coming from a “manager”. She started laughing at us and almost mocking us and doing the clapping of the hands when I told her that I will address it with the owner or general manager. She told us to “go ahead” because she does not want to work there anymore anyway. She also told me that it was not her fault that the kitchen made the wrong sandwiches. We understand that mistakes happen; we ultimately did not have a problem with the order being wrong, we came back hoping they will fix our order, but because of the attitude Lakisha displayed, we did not want the order to be redone at that point. The guy in the kitchen came out at that point because Lakisha went on the side telling everyone that “she is done” and everyone that worked there started comforting her. The kitchen guy was very nice and polite. He took our sandwiches away. He was very professional. We cannot believe that we received such a treatment. Lakisha should not be in customer...
