Warning if you want your kids to watch the hotel GM hooking up with random contractors right in the hotel foyer then this might be the place for you.... but be careful they will double charge you for the gross show without hesitation while telling you that your banking information is incorrect not them! My family had a house fire and we were looking for a place to stay that offers a kitchen. We wanted something with a studio Apt style room as there our 4 of us in this group. When we arrived and got our room we were surprised to find out the rooms are not as advertised there are NO KITCHENS AT ALL, just a stand alone sink with a microwave and a mini fridge smaller than a shoe box you may be able to hold a 12 pack of pop in.
The property has 2 elevators but at any given time you may get stuck in either of those elevators. I had to be removed by the fire department once. My brother is epileptic and also was stuck in the elevator on 2 different occasions as well; in totality someone in my unit was stuck in the elevator a total of four times in a 6-month time period. they were beginning the remodeling process so there was constant drilling and banging until 11:00 at night every single day. they advertise that there is laundry on premise there is none. they also advertise a free continental breakfast that consist of lukewarm coffee and cheap muffins. if you come in after 10:00 p.m. you may or may not find someone attending the front desk; if they're not there, you'll be sure to find them in the parking lot with their friends hanging out. The biggest issue that I have is the unprofessionalism that the entire hotel staff carry the general Manager has nightly dinner dates with the contractor Foreman where they cut it up as obnoxiously loud as they can. I was double charged for my room on five different occasions and then spoken to as if they had the right to charge my credit card without consent from me never to have the money refunded to be met with more excuses as to why they over charged me. if you stay longer than a day or two it is next to impossible to get housekeeping to actually service your room.... but they will help themselves to your property if left in the room as well as give it out to other staff members and guests while telling you that they found nothing. I have personally witnessed staff members sell drugs on the property commit adultery on the property as well as numerous other misgivings and private personal things that should never occur. Half of the staff look like they haven't washed their clothes in months, while the other half of the staff dress like they are going to the club. I mean if you're throwing a hotel party this might be a great place to go.... but if you're a family looking for a wholesome atmosphere this is definitely not for you. The pool is always filthy my 11 year old found a used condom floating in the pool. Needless to say when your paying almost $2000 dollars a month to stay someplace you expect to be able to get housekeeping to at least come in and vacuum the floors once a week it was next to impossible to get that to happen as a matter of fact the entire time that I stayed there my room was never serviced even once and when I sent my brother to get cleaning supplies such as a vacuum and whatever cleaning resources they use at the hotel my brother was informed we do not provide those to our guest it's your responsibility to go out and buy your own cleaning supplies to clean the hotel that you paid $2,000 a month to stay in so if you want to be part of the staff as well as an occupant by all means the extended stay cranberry is...
Read moreThe hotel pictures and reality are complete opposites. Either the day they were built or amazing photoshop edits, this hotel is nothing like the picture you see. The hotel was a hot mess from the moment you enter. There were food boxes, empty bottles, even dirty used napkins on the floor. We stood for around 10 minutes to checkin as there was no one at front desk, finally the employee came, but they didn’t have keys available, we were asked to come ask for keys the next day, and meanwhile the employee walked us to our room and told us not to leave for the night until we have keys the following day. Only one elevator works the other one broken, so it takes forever to get to your floor as it’s slow and you’re just waiting. The hallways were smelly, not food smelly, bad smelly. The room itself was very disappointing. The walls and furniture was completely scuffed up, I have attached some example pictures. It’s bad. The floor must have been cleaned in a hurry as the anywhere on the sides against the wall was filthy. The toilet was chipped, hair against the edges of the whole bathroom, and there was moldy grime in the tiles. Only one small soap bar was given, and the tray to put it had residue of the soap from previous travels caked on. The bed was clean but has no blanket. You have a sheet, and a comforter cover, the cover has no actual comforter inside it, so it’s basically two sheets. So you have the option to either sweat or freeze, next to impossible to be comfortable, so horrible sleep. Meanwhile the TV had no remote, we searched and searched the room everywhere, there was no remote, and when we went downstairs to ask again there was no one at the front desk. The rooms don’t have phones inside so we couldn’t even call the front desk. All in all we were disgusted the entire time we were there. Took a lot of mental preparation to go back to the room each night and led to us staying away as long as possible so we can just get back inside and immediately try to sleep. We tried switching hotels, but there was some tournament happening in the city so there was no last minute hotels available. I can’t bring myself to ever stay at an extended stay ever again. When we finally came home, immediately tossed every article of clothing into the was and spent an hour washing my body, as I couldn’t get the images of the hotel...
Read moreRecently stayed at the Extended Stay America Hotel Premier Suites, and unfortunately, I cannot say that it was a positive experience. From the moment I arrived, I noticed that the exterior of the hotel was not well maintained and did not give off a good impression.
Upon entering my room, I was immediately greeted with an unpleasant smell. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned and aired out. The lack of cleanliness was disappointing and made me feel uncomfortable during my stay.
Furthermore, the lobby entrance was also in poor condition. There were cigarette butts scattered everywhere, which created a dirty and unappealing environment. This lack of attention to detail and cleanliness was a major letdown.
One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because it was advertised as having a kitchen. However, upon checking in, I was informed that the hotel did not actually have a kitchen, despite what was stated on the booking portal. This inconsistency was frustrating and misleading.
Although the hotel claimed to have been renovated and considered "high end" after being taken over from Hyatt, it did not live up to my expectations. The price I paid, around $90 per night, led me to believe that I would be getting a decent experience, but I was thoroughly disappointed.
To be fair, I will say that the floors in the room did appear to be new, which was a small positive aspect. However, it was not enough to compensate for the overall negative experience.
After enduring only one night at the Extended Stay America Hotel Premier Suites, I decided to cancel the rest of my reservation. The lack of cleanliness, the unpleasant odor, the poorly maintained lobby, the false advertisement regarding the kitchen, and the overall disappointment were the main reasons behind my decision.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel based on my personal experience. It is essential for hotels to uphold cleanliness standards and deliver on their promises to ensure a satisfactory stay for their guests, and unfortunately, this hotel fell short in...
