Waffle House — Restaurant in Deerfield Township

I love Waffle House chain and eat it often. We’re in town for kings island and decided to go to this Waffle House location for breakfast this morning. We got there around 11am. The restaurant was filthy. Food was all over the floor. About half the tables had customers, the other half had dirty dishes not yet cleaned off. We found one clear table and sat down. Waitress came. Looked like she was barely standing. Acted like she was going to die because we asked for a rag to wipe off the table. After wiping the table she took our orders. We received our food relatively fast, but she shorted us a Waffle and a side of sausage. The sausage gravy was way to salty. She also never did bring our drinks. We had to get her attention, and she finally brought our drinks. She kept saying how slammed they had been all morning. I asked if she had been there all night and she said no she was at bachelor party all night. The reason for her slothfulness and forgetfulness was obvious. She was hung over. We left a good tip as we always do regardless of our service. I would not revisit this waffle house if I’m back...

We came her for my oldest boy who was going thru a procedure the next day and wanted to make sure he had what he wanted before the procedure. The food was okay although the restaurant was very loud consider it was just the crew and one other customer in the store. To be honest most of the noise was the customer but the employees were just as loud. The waiter had trouble hearing our order. Then when the waiter went to tell the cooks the order they couldn't hear him.

I am really surprised my order was partially right. The noise wasn't the end of the world and honestly not that big of a deal. I ordered Philly bacon sandwich and Bert's chilis with cheese. The chili came out with no cheese and the sandwich had very little cheesesteak on it. My boy's waffle was good and no one else had complaints about the food.

When the bill came it came out the full price which was an issue considering kids eat free that night of the week. It seems like this happens every time we have that special at Waffle House. Luckily that was another one of the reasons we came to...

It all depends if it's dope head or a regular person working how the food food taste. They got this one cook that sleeps while he's cooking.

I got email to review. Idk ain't nothing changed. When busy or slow plan to be there an hour. Yes even for to go orders. Very few of them say hello welcome to waffle House or good morning or anything along them lines when you walk in the door. The whole waffle House experience is that welcoming walking in the door. My baconis half burnt and half raw how in the heck does that even possible. You have servers that walk around just to walk around. You have surfers that are doing too much because of the walk around us. There is no team work there. Baby teamwork makes the dream work and makes a day better for real. The server tried to serve me a cold waffle told her I didn't want that. She stole somebody else's waffle and the other girl wouldn't even eat that cold waffle she tried to serve me neither. Baby...
