Customer service. Now I only talked to two individuals at this location, one was what I hope to be new, which is understandable. The second was I believe to be an assistant manager, or some type of lead.
I'm a truck driver. Half the time I'm bobtailing. Bobtailing is a term we use to say "hey its just the truck, no trailer attached." For those of you that don't know. Anyhow, I parked my truck out of the way as most truck drivers would do.
I go up to the door, and they ask if I'm their for door dash, I say no, I need to place an order. They ask for a catering? I say no, a regular order. The girl then directs me to drive thru or curbside. I replied and say, I can't do that im driving a semi. She looks at me blankly and ask the guy as he's walking by to handle my situation. I tell him I need to place a regular order please, I can't go thru the drive thru, im driving a semi. He says, well we can't take orders. You'll have to download the app. So I downloaded the app, placed my order, for curbside. I said I was driving a chevy, because for clear reasons that wouldn't have a semi in the line up for you to pick. Im wearing a blue Hoodie, so I put that the chevy was blue. Now I'm waiting on the order now, outside its 40° outside and not as prepared for the weather as i should be. So I'm shivering, and the lady comes out and tells me to stand in the spot that I assigned myself. Im starting to get a bit irritated, I just wanted my food, so I could go to my truck and eat on my 30 min break. My food arrives, I walk back to my truck to discover the whole ordeal has taken 20 minutes. So I try and tear into my food to get a quick bite and discover im missing items. Oh well, ill take a few bites and head down the road.
For any other truck drivers out there thats trying to get a quick bite, make sure you have the app, and check your order before you walk back...

Today 20 minutes for a chicken sandwich. One gentleman was upset and wanted his money back so he could go elsewhere and they didn't give it to him. Not sure if they lost a bunch of staff or what, but no apology for the wait only excuses. First it is in the kitchen, the drive thru clearly gets priority even though they claim they don't. Tons of cars moved through and someone in the drive thru ordered a chicken sandwich if not everyone. Then they said they ran out of chicken, come on, it is noon at Chick fil a, they are not out of chicken. No supply truck pulled up and guess what, out came chicken sandwiches. Usually the food here is great, but sandwiches were just warm and fries were cold. Clearly they had been sitting around somewhere, lots of issues if you want to be a fast food chain. Lots of people upset and nothing from management. Some of the staff cleaning tables tried to apologize but this place totally fell flat today. It would take a lot for me to leave chick fil a as I have posted a number of positive reviews and they own the chicken sandwich, but this location I am done with. Never ever had an experience like this especially at a Chick fil a. I felt so sorry for the gentlemen who was clearly on his lunch hour I wanted to give him back his money, management needed to step in and make things right for people. Let's face it, there were more people wanting to get in, than leaving unhappy and at the end of the day I guess that is what matters today. But it is so un-chick fil a.
