Stayed 3 nights in a King room, first weekend Dec. Temps 80's and humid. Hot, bright sun, but some breezes. Definitely fine to swim outdoors. ||PROS: Very good rate (booked months in advance) and location to beach, and the Starbucks in the Westin, and bus to/from airport (the 40 bus/transferring to the 1 bus; though Uber/Lyft is inexpensive, I was in no rush and not here for pleasure, but an annual obligation.)||Quiet, as it's placed a short couple of blocks from the A1A. ||Pool is small but looked clean and comfortable for a soak. 4' to 6'. I didn't use it, though I saw the other tourists enjoy it in the morning. ||The air-conditioning worked well and was easily adjusted. Floors, linens, towels were clean. DirectTV had multiple channels and HBO. Wifi was free, and connected well. Mini kitchen had a microwave, Keurig coffee and a medium fridge with freezer and ice trays, which was very helpful. Small assortment of dishes, glasses, silverware, but no sink, dish soap or paper towels.||My room was 209, at the end of the building. All rooms face the courtyard pool, in an L-shape. Being at the end made the room very quiet, I think, and it was nice to not have anyone walk past the window. ||For one night, I heard my neighbors through the wall. They were quiet, but the walls must be thin as you can hear muffled conversation through the wall. Also, the other travellers during my stay were very good tourists--no loud music or inconsiderate behavior. No children that I saw, and I rarely saw anyone outside.||CONS: Door lock is a keypad and doors open outward, with no chain or other interior means to secure the door, which is always concerning for me as a single traveller. ||Upon arrival, the bathroom was half-cleaned. Fresh towels, but there was a stack of dirty dishes and glasses in the bathroom sink, and the shower and toilet hadn't been cleaned. It appeared as if the cleaning service was interrupted and forgot to return. Not a huge deal, and I didn't complain as everything else was done and my rate was so low. ||SUMMARY: Proprietors appear to take pride in the place and keep everything in good condition. As I return annually, I would stay again if rate is good, but I'd also consider the Premier, which looked nice as well. I'd stayed several nights at the Snooze hotel, and preferred the Nobleton over the...
Read moreI just want to begin saying I’ve stayed at the Nobleton hotel before back in 2016 and absolutely loved it so I knew I wanted to stay there for my upcoming trip. However, my trip goes to shambles and I didn’t realize their policy has changed saying they have minimum age limit of 25 or so. So I proceeded to call on the 24th to cancel due to this policy and asked if there was anyway to avoid the fee because we were cancelling due to their policy. I get on the phone and speak to a man who was extremely rude, talking over me, telling me I need to read policies and learn hotel etiquette because it’s not ok to cancel 2 days prior to a reservation. I actually worked at a vacation club and a hotel under Marriott (one of the biggest hotel companies in the world) and knew the customer service he was giving me was ridiculous. If I had said the things he did to me, I would’ve been fired on the spot because the hotel industry is hospitality meaning customer’s always right. After the “manager” continued to talk over me, I asked to speak to the owner which he replied “they’re in Europe,” but I kept asking for them which then he finally replied “ok, let me put you on hold,” and then proceeded to HANG UP ON ME!!!! I’m fuming at this point so I call him back he denies hanging up saying he put me on hold. I keep demanding the owner which then he continues to LIE and say he’s the manager AND the owner!! What BS!!!! He even asks to speak to my mother and father like I am a child. He then keeps me on hold for 5 minutes and charged my card IMMEDIATELY for the first night stay. I hung up after that and I will NOT EVER be giving them my business again and everyone reading this shouldn’t either. This is absolutely ridiculous, save your money and head on over to the courtyard in Fort Lauderdale because they will take care of you unlike the idiot at Nobleton. I don’t work for Marriott anymore, but after hearing what I had gone through, the manager upgraded my room to an oceanfront suite free of charge and gave me a free dinner at their bistro. They have turned this whole trip around for my birthday coming...
Read moreThe check in process was very easy and the lady who checked us in and out was very polite and very nice. Luckily we were upgraded to a bigger room at no additional charge because the other rooms were all booked. We were very happy about that. The first morning when we went to take showers there was hair on one of the towels and so I went to the guy attending to the rooms and told him and also asked him for two additional pillows, he sarcastically said, "Anything else? We upgraded you. Did you like it?" I told him that we normally sleep with two pillows each. He then responded by saying that it wasn't on our request form. I didn't even know there was a request form.
The air conditioner worked great in the room and the room was cleaned very well each day with the exception of the two times that we found hair on the towels.
For us the location was just fine. Just a block away from the beach. It was also close to some restaurants and nightlife. If we had to take Uber it was only around $6 each way.
Parking is free here but you have to make sure that you're back before everyone else or you'll have to park down the road and pay or park in the parking garage near by and pay there. Not enough parking for everyone that is staying there.
The bed was more firm than we liked and didn't really have as much support as we are used to. The Umbrellas that they allow you to use at the beach are very small and some of the parts that go into the sand are broken. The chairs are very small as well. However they are free so how can I really complain about that?
For the price I may stay there again I will just have to lower my expectations...
