Stayed here through Airbnb in unit 2110. The front desk area is kind of hard to find because it’s not clearly labeled, it’s just a sliding door to a small room with a desk. The building itself looks rundown especially next to the W hotel and other larger buildings. The unit was like the pictures minus a few things like the coffee pot and tables. The bathroom is probably the worst part about it. It is very tight. There is no storage space at all for anything so I had to put all my toiletries on the coffee table in the living area. The shower has great water pressure but it is so tight it was very hard to move around. I’m 6’2 and the faucet was at my lower chest. It needs a paint job throughout and Is very gloomy because the plants outside cover the windows so you don’t get much light. The bed was very comfortable and large- it was a great night sleep every night. The window in the bedroom did not seem to close all the way so hearing outside noise was very easy. Also, it seems that there is a conjoining door that connected to the other suite behind it, which was also kinda unsettling and you could hear others moving around from behind the door. There is no deadbolt lock so the security seemed a bit lackluster. I noticed that my socks were extremely dirty from walking around in the unit and if I took them off my feet were black. I’m not sure if mopping is done after every guest leaves, but my guess would be not. I would maybe stay here again for a couple days because of the location, but nothing long term. It’s basically just a place to sleep which is what I booked it for. There are countless amounts of hotels surrounding it to choose from if you want that 4 star experience. This place is definitely a motel not hotel.

It is located in a wonderful area of central beach which is full of restaurants and bars. It was always busy and popping which was very cool. Definitely safe walking around at night. The motel is steps away from the beach which was amazing. Also, if you need an uber it seems like they park right next to the motel because they were always there waiting standing around.

The pool was very clean and the staff around the property were friendly. Overall, it was quiet and peaceful during my stay. If they update the exterior and interior this place could really shine with...

If I could give zero stars, I would. I see the hotel responds to negative reviews so poorly. Apologizing for differing opinions, and hoping you give them another chance in the future. Absolutely zero accountability. Let’s start with the fact that we asked for early check in 4 times. While I do understand it’s by availability. We asked days before and they responded to ask again on day of arrival. We messaged day of at 4 am before our flight for 1 pm check in, we received a response to ask again after 9 am. We were mid air at 9 am. So as soon as we landed around 10:30, we asked again. No response. We messaged again at 12 pm, again no response. I also called 3 times and nobody answered. I found another number online and tried that and they said there was nothing ready yet. It was not until after 2 pm that we got a text that the room was ready. Which would have been OK, had they not accidentally texted us several room numbers, accompanied with other people’s codes to get into their room. Prior to realizing the multiple texts, we actually went into one of the rooms with the code provided and the door opened, which is when we realized someone was already in there. We checked the text again and realized the multiple rooms and codes we were given. Being 2 girls alone there, we didn’t feel safe staying knowing room codes were being given out. We politely asked to leave and requested a refund. I acknowledge that our booking was non refundable, however be human. Have some empathy. Take some accountability for your error. On top of this, they had us standing in the “lobby” for quite some time for the manager to come out and speak with us. 20 minutes later when the manager came out she said “yeah?” acting like she had no idea what was going on, even though we heard the employees explaining to her we wanted to check out and a refund. She refused to refund us and just brushed the other room codes off as a “glitch”. Aside from all of this, the rooms were disgusting. Nothing at all like...

I was looking for a place to stay due to the Hurricane because I live in a flood zone, so I evacuated with my pet Stella. I drove four hours to get out the path of the hurricane and I booked here because I needed pet friendly accommodations. Yet when I got there, this hotel blatantly lied about their pet policy, contradicting what is listed on their website. I went to check in, and was told I would have to pay extra for a pet. I said that’s fine, and mentioned my cat. I was next told well cats are not allowed, but dogs are. When I mentioned that wasn’t mentioned on the website or even the paper I was signing (which referenced simply having to pay a pet fee and nothing about cats not being allowed), they said well it’s in the fine print, which they didn’t even show me. I still have yet to see this fine print. They simply said I wasn’t allowed to stay there despite my booking confirmation. To contradict what is on the website when I have screenshots supporting that cats are allowed, when someone is fleeing a dangerous storm and without a place to stay is unconscious-able. Terrible customer service by this business. Would not recommend dealing with such an inconsiderate hotel.

Edited to Note: The owner’s response reflects the culture of inconsideration. Again they do not even acknowledge what they have written on their website, which reflects that cats are welcome. To say we are not obligated to accept your pet cat when it says on the website cats are allowed shows how inconsistent and again how inconsiderate they are (see my screenshot I provided). Don’t say you accept cats on your website, if you don’t, it’s really that simple. This whole thing could have been mitigated if they had simply noted on their website that cats are not allowed. Instead they choose to ignore what they have written on their actual website, in order to justify how unprofessional they are as a hotel company. Anyone who rents here should expect the same courtesy and unprofessionalism I was...

I struggled a bit on what to write for this review. I want to say this hotel was good but there were definitely aspects of it that were truly not good. If you are not picky about a hotel being a bit run down, then honestly it's a great little place! I wouldn't consider it a hotel, more like an inn or motel. Room Type: Basic King Room Date Visited: January 2024 Positives: - Great location - Small resort (not too busy or loud) - Friendly front desk staff - Large fridge, microwave and coffee machine in the room Negative: - REALLY run down rooms.. 1. I had what looked like mold next to the wall mirror (outside the bathroom) and a ton of mold above the shower on the ceiling 2. Both the shower head and temperature handles were insanely disgusting and had tons of build up and rust on them 3. Rooms are very dark with minimal lighting, so at night I could barely see anything in my room 4. The wooden bathroom door and dresser drawers were chipping and falling apart 5. If you are a taller or larger person, good luck sitting on the toilet!! I'm not even kidding you, the toilet is so close to the wall and the door, you can barely sit down (and I'm not a very tall or big person but I had to sit kind of sideways on the toilet or my knees would hit the door) 6. There was an extremely gross leaking of rust/grime in my shower too. That was so bad. - There was one cold pool and one "hot" pool but the hot one was barely warm.. and the door going to the hot pool deck was completely rusty. I would personally never stay here again. I do like a cheap option but this one was nowhere near worth $250 Canadian a night. Highway robbery for that price. But again, if you are basic and don't mind a budget motel/inn then you'll be fine! Safe and clean-ish rooms.

ROACHES!!!! My friends and I booked a stay here May 7th-11th and on the second night we realized there were not one, but MULTIPLE, roaches in our room. We contacted 24/7 assistance the moment we saw the first one and they stated that they were sending someone over to remove to roach, unfortunately no one came and we quickly realized it was not alone. We had to stay somewhere else for the remainder of the trip as many of the rooms connect with doors. The options we were given were to get a refund through AirBnB (we booked directly through their website- so if you don't want to get screwed over make sure you only book through AirBnB!), check into another room (again, shared walls and connected units- we were connected to the unit to the right of us, and this is a VERY small "motel"), bomb the room and then continue to stay in it????, or to check out by 11am so that they could clean the room and post it available for someone else to book so that we MIGHT be able to get a partial refund (this is an insane solution). So beware, there are probably roaches in your room, you won't get a refund, and if you are able to book last minute or if the price is cheaper than you expected- its because there was an issue with the previous guests that prompted them to leave early. While there is always an increased chance of seeing a cockroach in Florida from time to time due to the humidity (even though I travel to Florida 5-7 times a year and have only ever seen one cockroach in my entire life, outside) this should not be normalized. It's been two weeks and we are still waiting for said manager to reach out to us.
