Let me first off state that I enjoy the food here. When, in the unicorn of a rare chance your food is served correctly and promptly, it's good.
If this has happend to you in the past year or so, please buy us a lottery ticket and let's split the winnings 50/50.
Three times in a row, I have called in/ordered online for take out. Each time something has gone pretty wrong.
Let's take tonight for example. I ordered onine at 8:20. Takes about 20 minutes to cook, so as advised on their website, I show up at 8:40. I sit in the parking lot until I decided to call, and make sure my sea food wasn't getting cold, at about 8:55. Come to find out, they haven't even started my food yet. No big deal, I'm already expecting this behavior. I do really want some food, so as long as my little girl isn't acting up I can wait it out.
9:19 I get my food. The manager on duty discounted the food with out me getting mad, which was nice. I was two seconds from pulling out of the parking lot and going to the mighty McDonald's. why McDonald's? Becausey family and I are hungry. And I really don't care to wait another hour for the restaurant forsaken take out.
I get home. My family and I are happy. discounted food, free cake, a little extra, and a long black hair surprises us.
Yup. Enough was enough. I called in and yelled a fair amount. Got in my car, went to McDonald's, and got some food. Fresh, correct, and free of dandruff.
Don't know if the inside is any nicer, I haven't risked that journey. Judging from the other ratings I've seen? Maybe I shouldn't.
Edit: I will state the manager who handled this issue, was pretty new to this location. I don't fully put the blame on him, as he has not been there for half a year yet. Hopefully he will help turn this nightmare around. I did recommend he find another job. He took the lecture, did everything he could to fix the mess, took responsibility upon himself, and provided me a refund, all while maintaining a calm, professional character. Just a reminder buddy, I don't think they pay you well enough to handle the backlash of situations like...
Read moreWent there just my Son, and I and got really great service at first! However when food arrived went straight down hill from there! My sons food which he ordered just kids mac n cheese was ice cold!!? Even though we all know doesnt take alot too keep that warm! My food was decent the steak i ordered med rare and it was ALOT closer too the rare side then medium but did not conplain! This is worst part of the experience! I go too use the free blooming onion coupon i had gotten online only too be told that it was invalid because its not nascar season and it said No where on coupon it had 2 be! Then i used another coupon that was active because of the gators winning outback bowl this season! Then the manager said No too that as well, and then told server that 0 coupons were out right now! Which is a lie! Then finally came too table instead of passing on nunerous No replies too my son and I table and argued with me and told me that google coupons werent allowed and that i should better read the fine print before i order somthing and not pay for it! And better questioned me if i had enough money to cover the 36 dollar check if she was too be so gracious and take it off this 1 time she irreated too me and was very passive aggresive and extramly rude the whole entire conversation in front of my little boy!!! Was so sad when she walked away he told me " daddy I never want too come back and see that mean lady"! How sad and utterly pathetic I hope this manager feels after reading this! She should be embarrsed and a role of manager and leadership should never be too someone that conducts and carrys there work duties in an unprofessional manner like she clearly displayed too Me and My 7yr old son! Its safe too say I will never return to the Burleson Outback steakhouse again! I suggest anyone who wants too dine there too read this before making that mistake! I however did pay my entire 36 dollar tab despite the manager sarcastically and disrespectling asking if I could! Worst restraunt experience ive ever had by a...
Read moreThe entree options are good however the sides are limited. You can get various forms of potatoes and steamed vegetables. If you want what they consider premium sides you will pay extra. I'm assuming steak is the primary item ordered here and with a baked potato and beverages including an appetizer it is a good place. Our biggest complaint here was service. I used to give exceptions and statements of understanding. Frankly I eat out often and more often than most anyone. Shiitte service is Shiite service. The job is to wait tables and regardless of patrons and poor management the expectation I have are for my visit to be comfortable with reasonable waits. I felt as though the customer service here is lacking. It was very impersonal. I believe we have better service at Chili's and that is not saying much. I ordered the Talapia with crab and my partner ordered salmon. The food was good and filling. We ordered an appetizer in this case mushrooms. They give you a good amount but only a 1 ounce ramekin of Ranch. We had to ask for more and it took the waiter forever to get us more. The mushrooms became cold. We only had sodas on this trip. We barely got refills after waiting long enough to have consumed most of our food with empty glasses. I've only once enjoyed Outback and that was when they had the all you could eat shrimp that was accompanied by the little sirloin. Other than that I'd been here twice before and those times were also a let down. IMO I could see coming here if you wish to pay a lot of money for this environment and sub par food. Dinner for two came to around $54.00 which is not that bad considering yet for me the price for the food was but much. I'd rather drop bank at Mortons for a steak than too come to an overrated Applebees with a clever...
