My parents kindly pre-purchased our Christmas dinner to make the holidays less stressful as my daughter has been working Amazon's Peak season this month with lots of OT and I just had a major cancer treatment from which I'm still recovering. The employees didn't know this so they were awesome without knowing how much their kindness meant to us.
I called on the 22nd to double-check hours due to the winter storm and the person who answered was absolutely delightful and kind. With service industries and weather, sometimes this can be a negative conversation. This person made it a nice conversation by focusing on customers driving in the weather rather than employees even though I brought up their driving in snow and ice first. Perfect customer service way of acknowledging the situation without adding guilt or negativity.
My spouse did the pickup and is not always great at making sure they got everything. The clerk (I'm guessing the same person I spoke with) was fantastic to my spouse as well. Triple-checking to make sure everything we ordered was in the bags and unknowingly relieving my spouse's internal stress about picking up dinner. Some places make the accuracy check seem like it's a theft or scam check. Honey Baked made it feel like they were being careful so we wouldn't have to worry or drive in the weather any more than was necessary. Again, a perfect customer service way of handling accuracy checks.
We are all prepped for Christmas dinner with zero added stress (we've had other holiday dinner pre-orders go so much worse). I will definitely want to do this again. Easy, pleasant, and stress-free...
Read moreSad state of affairs at this store! We pre-ordered for a small get-together for one of my Mother's final dinners (she's in hospice and dying) to make it easy on all of us. My sister ordered online and I picked it up. It wasn't ready - it wasn't packed right (was missing items even though she said she checked it and it was right). The "feedback" email is a joke - no wonder they don't know the service is falling apart! The email has no link to the feedback system, the link to the website results in an error, and the email is a "no reply" email address. I had to work HARD to provide online feedback to this company and their old fashioned "SRG" system is so 1980's it's a joke. Clearly no one has used or tried this system themselves or they simply don't care enough. SO disappointing. I am embarrassed I suggested Honey Baked Ham...
Read moreDidn't have a great experience this time. I hadn't been in for years, stopped in on the way home to pick up a turkey breast. There were two women at registers, one was helping a customer. The other told me they would be with me in a moment, "helping another customer right now" (singular). When the appearance is, as it was, that the cashier is standing there doing nothing, maybe a little more explanation is in order. I waited while the one customer being helped changed out ham sizes a few times and had lots of questions. Meanwhile, the line behind me grew. I finally just left, and made another plan besides a Honey Baked...
