I don't Recommend. This is our 5th visit to the Rocky Mountain Area ( Vail, Aspen, Snow Mass and Copper). Our family members came from different US. cities to enjoy family gathering. This year we chose Copper mountain to be the gathering place. SkyRun was the company who owns the property. our expectation were high since this wasn't the first time to rent a property or visit the area.our stay were from July 12th to July16th. (Lewis Ranch) Here is the review: The good things were: The place was nice and clean. Kitchen was fully equipped. Enough beds and blankets. Deck area had a nice view. spacious living room.
Here is the inconvenience : We had to go to the office to get the access code! The garage was the only way to the entrance. no keys were given for the doors. still can be open from inside but when we leave the property we have to use the garage door. The Jacuzzi in the room 2nd floor doesn't work ! The Steam path in the 3rd floor doesn't work! we called the manger he told us that someone will come and have a look at them. No-one SHOWED UP ! the paper towels used in paths were cheap brand just like same the ones in the public restrooms ! The worse thing happened during our stay there was a complete WATER SHUT OFF from 7AM to 7PM due to Utility service. ( We have been informed by SkuRun shortly before arrival by e-mail, there was no way to cancel the reservation) we had to leave the property with 6 kids for almost the whole day until the water was back on.
we have contacted the manger , Charlie, to extend our stay one night as compensation of the inconvenience and we checked the availability of the property the following day of our last day and it's was available. However, he "Charlie" contacted the company owner and they chose not to give us the extra night instead they offered only a $200 as refund. -Also, there were a construction on the road leading to the property due to the utility service work which made the access a little difficult -we left the property without enjoying Jacuzzi and steam path.
Based on our previous experiences with the area. SkyRun (Copper mountain) was the worst stay!
My recommendation is to stay in Vail , Aspen, Snow Mass or Breckinridge. They have a better hosting companies. I'm sure when you come to such places you are looking for a smoothing relaxing place to stay at. so make a smart choice and learn from other people...
Read moreSo while staying here we received a phone call from the front desk telling us that they over booked our room but could give us another hotel to stay at. We said sure because it was to a nicer hotel. So we ski down to move all of our stuff to the new apartment. When we arrived we were harassed by their house keeping. I tried to explain to the lady that we were just told about moving rooms and would be packing up immediately and heading out. She asked when we would be out of the room by and I said I was unsure. The lady was so rude about the whole situation that my girl friend was historically crying. Five minutes later I received a call from their front desk telling me that I had to move out today. I said that I was aware and was working on it. He then said that he was told that we cursed at the cleaning lady and said we weren't leaving. I then cleared up what was actually said and suggest he listen to the camera recording if he doesn't believe me. He went silent for awhile so I asked if I could speak to his manager. he said no. I asked why and he said "I think that is a bad idea". I persisted to get any of their contact information with no success. I eventually got off the call and proceeded to pack up. While I was moving our luggage to the car, my girlfriend received another call from the hotel saying they had called security to remove us from the room. My girlfriend was already hysterically crying and this just frightened her for no reason. She called me so I ran back and we packed up everything and got the hell out of there. Worst staff ever.
TL;DR: They changed our reservation, harassed us, made my girlfriend cry, and scared her...
Read moreWe had a terrible experience renting from SkyRun at the Copper Mountain Inn. We had reached out to SkyRun during our stay and several times after our stay hoping they would make things right. Unit 416 is in severe disrepair: holes in the walls, paint sheared away from the wall in the bathrooms, holes in the carpet, boot dryer pieces were all broken, missing the front of a bathroom vanity, fireplace broken (apparently for years), bed frames broken, broken coffee pot glass was broken), one of the shower curtains was stained brown at the bottom, toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the grill was filthy and tools left outside filthy from previous guest. Trash from previous occupant left in bathrooms, food crumbs found on floor after we walked in for the first time. I have emailed their director of owner relations twice after she reached out to me once during our stay only to be ignored. GM will not return email or phone call. We have sent them photo evidence, they don't care. DO NOT RENT FROM...
