🦅Eagle BBQ at @Copper Mountain is one of the absolute best ski resort village food spots. We've been coming here for years for the great brisket, cavatappi mac, and now, the chicken! So tender you can cut it with a fork. Their house made sweet and spicy BBQ sauces are on point! Just what you need to warm up after a long day on the slopes. Also, best drink prices for any resort spot. #diningcolorado #coppermountain #coppermountainresort #coppercolorado #vacationfood #bbqchicken #ocneats #coloradobbq #coloradobites #Colorado #coloradofood #coloradofoodie

Another spot in Copper Mountain that I'm a fan of is Eagle BBQ. They have been located in the center village since 2016 and server up what they call Colorado BBQ, a mixture of the traditional American styles. Orders are placed at the counter and there is plenty of seating available for groups of any size. There is also a small bar with a good selection of local craft beers and a full bar. Kids plates are available and include a burger, hot dog, chicken tenders, or mac and cheese. I went with the slow smoked tender pulled pork platter ($16) served with a choice of side (bbq beans for me), thick cut white bread, and a fountain drink or PBR. The side of beans was large and of good flavor. The meat was tender and had a nice smokey flavor. My wife had a similar order but went with the pulled pork sandwich with side and same drink choices ($15). The portion size of pork seemed to be pretty much the same, so maybe the sandwich meal is the way to go, unless you are going to try more than one of the meats offered. They do offer brisket, turkey, ribs, and sausage in addition to the pulled pork we tried. Overall a good and quick meal option in Copper.

I can’t think of any other mountain ski resort in the country that has a bonafide, legit BBQ place! This is a destination in itself, aside from Copper Mountain, being an incredible Ski Resort. I mean what a bonus to then have a BBQ place that does all their own in-house smoked brisket, pulled chicken & pork, ribs, Mac n cheese brisket bowls, classic sides! The smoker is right on the mountain, smoking 24 hours a day, at Eagle Chair Lift in Center Village. The smoked meat flavor pulls you off the mountain. Awesome staff, rocking little bar inside, good seating and view of the East end of the resort, and the BRISKET!!! Stout beers as Ol Van Winkle bourbon to boot! It’s seriously hard to beat. This place needs to have a location open up in Denver! As a fav stop of mine, today I opted for the pulled pork sandwich! You add the Coleslaw and douse it with their house-made Alabama white sauce, spicy bbq, and southern mustard and pickle to each bite! Omg, it’s that good. Def plan to get dirty and ravenous when tearing into a plate of meat-lovin’ heaven at this epically incredible BBQ joint!

Where to start? With the ribs cooked to sumptous perfection so they fall off the bone, amazingly moist and tender brisket and pork, homemade mac and cheese, and the delicious baked beans, the Eagle BBQ at Copper Mountain is our go-to for lunch with our ski school guests as well as where my friends and I gather for après-ski every afternoon after work. When we come in, whether it's for lunch or après-ski, Darrell and his stunningly friendly and efficient crew smile or acknowledge us - I know our ski school guests appreciate eating at an establishment where the staff is so welcoming. In addition to the guys behind the line, Eagle BBQ's bartenders are the best. I can't get into too many details but ask Parker, Chelsea, Nick, or Erin for a "happy meal." With a well-stocked bar, we especially enjoy the variety of bourbons and as an Elijah Craig distributor, we have purchased a few tasty bottles of Toasted Barrel. The deck is also one thing that separates the 'Bird (so named by JD) from other Copper establishments. So grab a lawn chair on the snow or deck, and enjoy soaking up some afternoon sun with a cold one or two. Can't thank Darrell and his crew enough - thanks for everything you do for us...

Really solid BBQ with good food prices and awesome drink prices for a ski hill. Only at Copper would you fund a place like this that's allowed to not be owned by the mountain and do things a little different. True gem for their food (in terms of flavor) and drink specials.

I got the sampler platter with ribs and smoked Turkey - both recommendations of Zach the bartender. They were awesome and paired with a side of beans. It was all a knockout -especially the ribs which had a great smoke ring, good tenderness, but not overdone. The turkey is a meat I normally forget about but on the suggestion I was game to try. Admittedly these didn't hold a candle to the ribs, but were still really really good, flavorful, and juicy. The beans were a recommended side dish from the chef (along with the mac and cheese). The sweetness and richness of the beans was killer. Easily a top 25 bean recipe I've had, and I've had A LOT. I somehow missed the sauces as my helmet was sitting in front of them so the beans became my sauce where needed. The flavor on everything was so good though that very little...
