I came in for an order of donuts and a chai. Although the donuts are pretty small, my daughter really liked them. My chai, however, was not hot, not even warm. I went back to ask the woman behind the counter to re-make it. She seemed put off by this request. When she re-made it, it was still not warm/hot. Her response was, "You saw me steam the milk to 140 degrees. The chai is cold, so just give it some time, it will warm up." What kind of response is that? Hands down the best donuts I’ve ever had. I don’t like donuts all that much and can’t remember the last time I had one. These on the other hand are a must-have and to die for! Made right in front of your eyes, they come out nice and hot to be decorated to your liking. The donut sundae is my favorite thing on the menu. OK, for a quick stop, but they aren't kidding when they say mini-donuts. Don't picture the Hostess powered mini donuts size. These are 50 cent piece size and about as thick as hotel bar of soap. A dozen is $7.95 and probably has about the same dough as one regular donuts, if that. So keep your expectations to a flavourful snack versus anything substantive.
