We came to Village Square for the Guitar Town festival. We stayed in a room 535 it has a refrigerator and two queen beds. The room was nice and clean. There is no air conditioner but it's really not needed when you're up in the mountains. We were very comfortable with the fan in the window and the cool mountain air. It was perfect for August. The only thing is the room needs to be updated and decor added. Colorado cabin theme would be nice with color on the walls or a red accent wall. Maybe shiplap and modern farmhouse would work. It's very bland and neutral. It could use some art work on the walls and accessories like a rug. My favorite part I liked is that it was right in town. Lots of restaurants and shops. No staff in the building, their parking lot is too small to accommodate all guests. We have also been told that the hotel is not responsible for parking which is ridiculous, given how much they charge ($600/night). Also, you have to leave the parking lot before 10 am (apparently a new rule that they made up the day we arrived) which defeats the purpose of staying overnight to enjoy some early runs in the morning and avoid shuttles. The real fun starts when you arrive and realize that none of those emails include coherent parking instructions (we had to surf the garage door to get in), or the ROOM number.
