TL/DR:||Tucker Mountain Room 521 was completely run down and missing furniture. It should not be rented in the current condition and the when we contacted the hotel staff they indicated this was standard for an economy room.||||Full Review:||This was our third year staying at Copper over the New Years holiday and all three years we have stayed in Tucker Mountain Lodge or Taylor's Crossing. We always choose these lodges due to their location in Center village. The past two years the accommodations were more than satisfactory. ||||This year we were given Unit 521 in Tucker Mountain Lodge. It was listed as a Three Peak room. Per the Copper Mountain Website:||||"Peak levels range from 5-2, with 5 being our nicest accommodations and 2 representing our economy units. Buildings are grouped in neighborhoods by similar location, building age and common area décor. Each Neighborhood offers a variety of unit peak ratings."||||When we checked into the room we noticed ripped and torn carpet, heavily marked walls, a kitchen table that wobbles, a stove with broken burners, and missing bathroom furniture. Our travel agent called on our behalf and the staff noted we booked a "budget" unit and that is what we received. They did nothing for us and did not seem to care. When we checked out we once again motioned the condition mostly to make sure they did not try to charge us for any damage. Again, they seemed to not care and offered no apology.||||In addition to the room condition, they were doing construction in the hall so we were lucky enough to have the dust and paint smell come into our room on several occasions over the trip.||||The condition of the room was very disappointing and not representative of prior stays at Tucker Mount / Taylors Crossing. On top of that, the staff's complete disregard of our concerns makes us think we will look for someone different...
Read moreWe recently stayed in condo 527 for a 4 night family vacation. It was our first and last trip to Tucker Mnt Lodge. The condo was in great need of TLC. The entire building seemed dated as we exited the 5th floor elevator to our room. It was dark, smelled like a locker room and old old carpet. Our condo was adequate but extremely overpriced for a very used condo. The carpet was stained and tearing at the seams. Worn out furniture. Chipped wall paint and the most uncomfortable bed I have ever attempted to sleep in my entire life. Mattress completely worn out with indented places where others have slept. Our son slept on the worn out sleeper sofa which might have even been more comfortable . We left more tired than we arrived not sleeping well for 4 nights.||The bathroom was not very clean and I was thankful for my cleaning wipes I threw in my bag for the airline trip to CO. The bathroom doorknob was loose and about to come out of the hole entirely. The closet had a collapsed shelf that no one has bothered to put back together. | |It was hot on the 5th floor but if you opened the windows you couldn’t sleep due to traffic and truck noise.||The garbage recycling area in the garage was completely overflowing. No idea when that gets picked up but it had been awhile. |No one has followed up on our visit. No opportunity to give feedback. ||We left the place cleaner than it was when we arrived. Stay somewhere else. We will...
Read moreFirst of all, let me say that my husband and I have stayed at Tucker several times and we love this property; great views, steam room, and underground parking. This past week we booked a 1:1 condo, room #521. This condo is not up to Cooper lodging standards, nor is it up to Tucker standards. First off, there was a major trip hazard as the carpet is all ripped up in/out of the bedroom (photo) and looks like it's original carpet; there is virtually no storage for clothing, just two small nightstands; missing hooks for shower curtain; only frying pan is a small 6" pan. I highly recommend avoiding #521 at all costs. I reported the carpet issue to Copper lodging and was told they would have somebody come check it out. A supervisor called me about an hour later and offered to move us as they couldn't do anything about the carpet, it's up to the owners. Kudos to Copper for stepping up; although we didn't opt to pack up and move, we appreciated the offer. They sent up somebody to tape down the tears so that we wouldn't trip and fall. Again, avoid Tucker #521; Copper really needs to monitor housing a bit better or have photos on the lodging...
