We had a 3-day reservation, prepaid through Expedia. When we got to this hotel, we discovered a sign on the door that said they were closed for renovations. We had gotten no notice of this, so we went in, and met a woman in the lobby who was incredibly rude. She told us Expedia had been notified, and that we needed to deal with them. She cut any questions off. We then called Expedia, whose agents have tried to contact the hotel, with no response. The sign on the door did have a number to call, so I called it and was met with an unbelievable level of rudeness. I had to tell the person who answered to let me talk, as she immediately began to talk over me. I wanted to tell her that Expedia was sending an email, and she cut me off and told me that the number (posted publicly as the number to call) was for emergencies only. I am truly appalled at the lack of help, lack of courtesy, and lack of cooperation we encountered at this hotel. Renovations or not, third party bookings or not, there is no excuse for reacting with such an uncaring, downright rude manner.

This hotel is disgusting. Everything about this hotel is outdated. The rooms are dirty, as you walk through the hotel you’ll notice holes in the wall, exposed pipes, broken ceiling tiles, the landline phone in the room does not work and therefore you’re not able to reach the front desk. The furniture is either broken or severely scratched. There is zero Customer Service and it is impossible to try to get a hold of somebody if you need anything. I unfortunately only had this hotel as a last minute option due to an unexpected trip into Summit County. I’m extremely disappointed that such a reputable, international hotel organization, such as IHG, as allowed their name to be affiliated with this building. The entire property needs to be bulldozed and rebuilt.

Not Recommended!!!!! We booked for four nights in August 2025 and upon our arrival to the hotel, the hotel was closed for business and even had a stop work order from the city of Frisco CO posted on the building! (We took photos of the signage posted on the lobby doors) We have reached out several times but to no avail or response! Our credit card company has also reached out with no response from the owner. We were charged in full for a stay which could have never taken place! If the hotel knew they were closed for business, they should have shut down their reservation system and/or respond to people who had reservations while they are closed for business!!!!

On April 22, 2025, we made a reservation for the White Peak Hotel in Frisco, Colorado using reservation-desk.com. We reserved a suite for two nights for our family of four arriving on July 3, 2025.||When we arrived on July 3, 2025, we were told that the White Peak Hotel does not have suites. Due to renovations, they have not had suites available for months. They also do not have a pool or restaurant, despite what their website says.||We were offered a room with a single King sized bed for the four of us! After explaining how this is unacceptable, we were offered a room with two double beds. Still unacceptable, but it was the best they could offer.||Obviously, there was some miscommunication between reservation-desk.com and the White Peak Hotel. Instead of a suite with two separate bedrooms, we were crammed into two double beds.||We asked for a refund but after a number of back and forth e-mails with the support team, we received this response from reservation-desk.com support.||"Following an in-depth review of the matter referenced above, we have confirmed with both the hotel and the provider that the reservation was processed accurately and the correct room type was secured. As our investigation has identified no error or service failure, there is no basis for further action. Accordingly, this case will be closed."||So apparently, they think they can gaslight us into thinking "the correct room type was secured". Tried to contact the White Peak Hotel directly, but every time we call their number (970-668-5000), we get the message, "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. Your call cannot be completed as dialed, as the called party is busy. Please hang up and try again later."||In 2025, they don't have a voicemail system? Still trying to reach White Peak Hotel to get a receipt showing our actual room, which I assure you was not a suite.||DO...

Stayed Feb 14-16, 2025.

Location is great. Less than 30 minutes to Copper Mountain or Breckenridge. Lots of stores and several good restaurants within 5-10 minute walk, less by car. Right off I-70, so its easy to find and accessible.

Rooms could use some work. They rooms were decent enough. Furniture wasn't old but could use some updates with USB ports in furniture or in outlets. Plenty of lighting. Bathtub/shower looked rather new; however, the workmanship was poor. For example, the bathtub spout stuck out too far from wall with the gap ( 1/4") filled with silicon. It looked shotty. Also, although I don't need very hot water, the others in our party complained the water did not get hot enough. Beds were a little too soft for my back but would be perfect for those who like softer beds. Pillows were great, nice and fluffy, not too thin or too stiff.

BIG COMPLAINT: The hotel advertises that they have a restaurant with dinner and breakfast; however, according to the staff, the restaurant was closed 6 months ago. Our reservation confirmation even mentioned the availabiltity of breakfast. THERE IS NO RESTAURANT AND THERE IS NO BREAKFAST AVAILABLE. Had this been properly advertised, we would not have stayed here. When we raised this issue to the staff, they were rather non-chalante in telling us "yeah, the restaurant hasn't been open for 6 months." NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I’ve stayed in many hotels, both for vacation and business, and Whitepeak is by far one of the worst—if not the worst—hotel I’ve ever visited. The only redeeming quality is its location, as it’s conveniently close to places like Walmart, gas stations, and EV charging stations.

Beyond that, the experience was a disaster. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was unpleasant—staff seemed unmotivated and uninterested in helping or even being polite. The rooms were relatively clean, but there was a strong musty smell and a noticeable layer of dust on many surfaces.

The gym, pool, game room, and “restaurant” shown in the hotel’s promotional photos are completely misleading. The restaurant was 100% closed, covered in dust, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The gym was in terrible condition—every treadmill was broken, and only one elliptical machine worked, and even that one was barely functional. It was honestly shocking.

The only genuinely positive aspect was the mountain view—it was beautiful. But overall, I would strongly advise taking precautions and not being fooled by the photos. Hopefully, they...
