On April 22, 2025, we made a reservation for the White Peak Hotel in Frisco, Colorado using reservation-desk.com. We reserved a suite for two nights for our family of four arriving on July 3, 2025.||When we arrived on July 3, 2025, we were told that the White Peak Hotel does not have suites. Due to renovations, they have not had suites available for months. They also do not have a pool or restaurant, despite what their website says.||We were offered a room with a single King sized bed for the four of us! After explaining how this is unacceptable, we were offered a room with two double beds. Still unacceptable, but it was the best they could offer.||Obviously, there was some miscommunication between reservation-desk.com and the White Peak Hotel. Instead of a suite with two separate bedrooms, we were crammed into two double beds.||We asked for a refund but after a number of back and forth e-mails with the support team, we received this response from reservation-desk.com support.||"Following an in-depth review of the matter referenced above, we have confirmed with both the hotel and the provider that the reservation was processed accurately and the correct room type was secured. As our investigation has identified no error or service failure, there is no basis for further action. Accordingly, this case will be closed."||So apparently, they think they can gaslight us into thinking "the correct room type was secured". Tried to contact the White Peak Hotel directly, but every time we call their number (970-668-5000), we get the message, "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. Your call cannot be completed as dialed, as the called party is busy. Please hang up and try again later."||In 2025, they don't have a voicemail system? Still trying to reach White Peak Hotel to get a receipt showing our actual room, which I assure you was not a suite.||DO...

Location is great. Less than 30 minutes to Copper Mountain or Breckenridge. Lots of stores and several good restaurants within 5-10 minute walk, less by car. Right off I-70, so its easy to find and accessible.
Rooms could use some work. They rooms were decent enough. Furniture wasn't old but could use some updates with USB ports in furniture or in outlets. Plenty of lighting. Bathtub/shower looked rather new; however, the workmanship was poor. For example, the bathtub spout stuck out too far from wall with the gap ( 1/4") filled with silicon. It looked shotty. Also, although I don't need very hot water, the others in our party complained the water did not get hot enough. Beds were a little too soft for my back but would be perfect for those who like softer beds. Pillows were great, nice and fluffy, not too thin or too stiff.
BIG COMPLAINT: The hotel advertises that they have a restaurant with dinner and breakfast; however, according to the staff, the restaurant was closed 6 months ago. Our reservation confirmation even mentioned the availabiltity of breakfast. THERE IS NO RESTAURANT AND THERE IS NO BREAKFAST AVAILABLE. Had this been properly advertised, we would not have stayed here. When we raised this issue to the staff, they were rather non-chalante in telling us "yeah, the restaurant hasn't been open for 6 months." NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Read moreI’ve stayed in many hotels, both for vacation and business, and Whitepeak is by far one of the worst—if not the worst—hotel I’ve ever visited. The only redeeming quality is its location, as it’s conveniently close to places like Walmart, gas stations, and EV charging stations.
Beyond that, the experience was a disaster. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was unpleasant—staff seemed unmotivated and uninterested in helping or even being polite. The rooms were relatively clean, but there was a strong musty smell and a noticeable layer of dust on many surfaces.
The gym, pool, game room, and “restaurant” shown in the hotel’s promotional photos are completely misleading. The restaurant was 100% closed, covered in dust, and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The gym was in terrible condition—every treadmill was broken, and only one elliptical machine worked, and even that one was barely functional. It was honestly shocking.
The only genuinely positive aspect was the mountain view—it was beautiful. But overall, I would strongly advise taking precautions and not being fooled by the photos. Hopefully, they...
