If you're looking for a taste of Mexico while skiing at Copper Mountain, you can't go wrong with Hacienda Real. This restaurant has become a yearly tradition for us, and for good reason - the food is always amazing.
One of our go-to dishes at Hacienda Real is the carne asada. The steak is always cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, and paired with delicious sides like rice and beans. It's a hearty and satisfying meal that never disappoints.
But it's not just the food that keeps us coming back to Hacienda Real - the atmosphere is also a big draw. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you've been transported to a Mexican resort. The decor is colorful and festive, and the music sets the perfect mood for a relaxing meal with friends or family.
Of course, no Mexican meal is complete without a margarita, and Hacienda Real definitely delivers on that front as well. Their margaritas are some of the best we've had, perfectly balanced and not too sweet. They're the perfect complement to the flavorful food and festive atmosphere.
Overall, if you're looking for a Mexican restaurant with amazing food and a welcoming atmosphere near Copper Mountain, Hacienda Real is the place to go. Whether you're in the mood for carne asada, margaritas, or any other Mexican favorites, you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making for a dining experience that's both satisfying...

First of all, sticker shock, the prices are extremely high, maybe I'm out of touch for a mountain town and they have to make ends meet there, but in my opinion they are quite high. Ok, so some places deliver exceptional food and at those prices I assumed that would be the case. Well, no not the case.
From the start the chips and salsa were just meh. Hard to mess chips up, but the salsa was bland, tasteless. We asked for something with a little more kick and we're given a habanero salsa, which while it had spice it also didn't have much flavor.
We ordered the chicken milanesa, tacos al pastor, chile relleno and queso fundido with chorizo. The milanesa was the thunder piece of chicken ever, it actually tasted ok and the plate was decently served. Tacos al pastor are not authentic Al pasto. They were just marinated pork with sides of rice an beans, the cheese with chorizo was just ok also, feels like SISCO food, not quite fresh ior the best ngredients you can get.
I know I sound very snobby, but I'm from Mexico and know what Mexican food should taste like, this is not it and for the price is not even worth the experience. Don't...
