T.J. Maxx — Local services in Heath

I wont be going back here to shop for awhile. Went to purchase some last minute gifts. Found a unique scrabble game which the box was in the shape of a book. The box had a slip cover similar to a jacket cover for a book. It was the last one they had. I had the Mngr. call two other reginal stores to inquire if they perhaps had one in stock, they did not. I had her check because the one that the Heath, Ohio store had was damaged, (ripped and tore). She asked if I still wanted the one she had and I asked if she would take some money off the original price for the item being damaged and she informed me that she couldn't because the main product wasn't damaged. Really!!, the protective jacket cover is part of the product or it wouldn't be sold with it.... I went ahead and purchased ot, took it home and taped the damaged rip. SHOULD NOT HAVE TO REPAIR A NEW...

Nice selection but horrible customer experience. Two old ladies working here started making derogatory remarks about me at the dressing room in regards to how I dress and my tattoos. I was wearing an appropriate outfit (T-shirt and wide, long jeans) and I have no offensive tattoos. I was nothing but polite to them while they also ignored me on top of making rude remarks. It was incredibly unprofessional. It was the most disappointing TJ Maxx experience I ever had. The manager was kind and listened to my concerns. Very upset. Tried to exchange for larger size hoodie and the lady said it didn't meet the description that it scanned. It was a grey Puma hoodie and she said, "It says charcoal and it looks more grey than charcoal" Really??? So I went back to see if they had a larger size to exchange and of course everything was wiped out due to the holidays. So, she wouldn't let me exchange the hoodie for another because the description was different. I bought it there and had the receipt!! Good luck with returns and...
