We visited White Castle on 3/16 around 6 pm. My wife and I waited at the drive through speaker for 10 minutes waiting to place our order. We politely said hello 3 different times and no one answered finally after starting to get upset we said hello is there anyone in there and they finally answered us. Mind you there was one other car in front of us that was already at the window waiting for their food. They did not apologize or anything when they came to take our order. They just said can I take your order. We placed our order and drove around to the window where we continued to wait for the previous car to get their food. We waited an additional 5-7 minutes behind the car at the window. Once we got to the window to finally pay and the employee asked if we had a number 1 3 and 5. We said we do not know what those are based off of the numbers. The guy continued to repeat himself until finally a woman from the back came and said that the number one was a 4 piece slider combo the chicken ring combo etc. we went on to thank the woman from the back for clarifying our order. Once we paid we had to wait additional 5-6 minutes for our food to be handed to us. Once we got our food we still did not get our drinks and the employee looked at us like we were crazy. Needless to say we finally get got through the whole process after about 30 minutes or so. This place was by far the WORST White Castle we have ever been too. There was no need to be waiting so long just to have our order taken. Not to mention there was a line behind us as well with the same frustrations. I understand these are times of Covid and they are doing us a favor by working, however there was a lack of customer service and a lack urgency. Read moreI almost never review restaurants. I’m hard to displease or impress. However, today at 5:30, I had the pleasure of eating at this location. I have only eaten at an actual White Castle location once before, but I’ve purchased their burgers in the frozen foods section more times than I care to admit. I was craving some White Castle today, and I was very impressed. I’m not from close by so I had to use the restroom upon entering the store. It was clean and well stocked with toilet paper and soap. The cashier said hello and greeted me very pleasantly. She took my order and answered my questions. The food was presented nicely and quickly. Those sliders were on point! The fries were hot and crispy. The restaurant was updated and looked great. There was also someone sweeping who replaced the napkins while we were there. The soda fountain was clean and filled. The condiments were stocked, labeled, and organized. Another family dined in while my husband and I were there, and their food was also quick and fresh. The kitchen appeared organized, clean, and the cooks were operating as a team. The parking lot was clean, and even the landscaping was trimmed and maintained.

I expressed confusion, as I believed they still had chicken available. However, they clarified that while they did have burgers, they could not make the specific burger I requested. Despite my confusion, I decided not to delay the line and proceeded with my order. The individual taking my order displayed an unfriendly attitude towards me due to my lack of understanding regarding the unavailability of the burger I desired. They explained that they had to turn off the grill for cleaning purposes. As an outsider, I am not privy to the details of their internal operations, such as whether they use different types of patties or not. However, I had assumed that all their burgers were of the same size. Subsequently, a young man at the window apologized for the rude behavior of the staff member. Approximately 10 minutes later, I received my order while still in the drive-through. I I have extensive experience in the restaurant industry, and during my tenure, we never turned off any of our equipment until the establishment was completely closed.
