⭐ Title: Misleading Sales Practices and Unfair Return Policy
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Mattress Firm. When I purchased my Tempur-Pedic mattress, I was told there would be a $250 return fee if I decided to return it. The salesperson also told me I had to purchase a more expensive adjustable base (over $1,049) because otherwise it would “void the mattress warranty.”
Unfortunately, the mattress caused severe back pain and made my condition worse — I have eight herniated discs and made that very clear before purchasing. When I tried to return the mattress, I was told the base was non-refundable, even though no one had disclosed that to me at the time of sale.
My original total was $3,662. After returning the mattress, they still charged the $250 restocking fee and forced me to keep and pay for the $1,049 base, plus taxes — leaving me with a remaining balance of $1,452.67 for items I didn’t want and couldn’t use.
To make matters worse, the pillows and mattress cover were part of a $300 promotional “gift” for purchasing the mattress, yet they tried to make me pay for those as well after I processed the return.
This experience felt deceptive, unethical, and manipulative. Mattress Firm failed to clearly explain their return and refund policies, pushed unnecessary upsells, and took advantage of my medical situation.
I would strongly advise anyone shopping here to get every single policy in writing and be cautious about any so-called “promotional gifts” — they may end up charging you for them later.

Read moreLook, we all know these companies are super shady, so I'll just warn you what happened to me and you can decide for yourself. Also, would high reccomend Amazon instead- they have a 0$ return fee and 120 day trial, and they deliver it to you. As opposed to this company which has a bunch of surprise fees and charges. I was told up front it would cost $250 to restock a refund, fine. The mattress was delivered was way more firm than the store's version and had a weird lump in the middle that was supposed lumbar support but felt like sleeping on hard sand at the beach. Returned it. It was showing I owed $350. I called Natalie who said it would just take a month to post. Wait a month and call back. The woman who answered the phone didn't really speak English and told me that was taxes. I told her taxes are 7% not 60%. Asked to speak to her manager. The manager told me it was a delivery fee. I told her the initial delivery fee was waived. She told me she had just spoken to Natalie and no it wasn't. I told her then one of you are lying. She calls me back and says oh actually you are right- she took it off the mattress not the delivery fee because they're a 3rd party company so you have to pay it anyway. Sure- the truck that says Matresss Firm on it, and all the employees wearing mattress firm clothing are a 3rd company. This was not disclosed in any of the numerous contracts I signed. Had they told me "you have the option to bring it in yourself and save $100" then I would have. Also, when I was returning it they offered me a different one. I tried it and said no thank you. They called back a few hours later willing to take $600 off the price. So if you do go in, negotiate and leave. You'll get a...
Read moreYesterday, we went shopping here for new pillows, blankets, and bed sheet sets. We arrived after dinner and didn't leave until after closing time! This store is the best Mattress Firm location we have been to for selecting their merchandise. We bought so much that it has to be shipped to us, lol. We were buying for my apartment as well as my daughter's apartment, so we bought doubles. They were also having a really good sale for top quality items. The value was there! I like how they offer items in a category of threes: Good, Better and the Best.
Our saleslady, Natalie, was an angel! She was friendly and very helpful. Not only that, she was very knowledgeable about every product that we had questions about. She helped us figure out the best items for our needs. We felt very comfortable working with her. She was amazing!
Last evening, while we were there, a really bad thunderstorm came on. Luckily, the parking was right in front of the store and we ran to our car. They also have wheelchair accessible parking and entrance to the store. There is an EV station nearby. Everything was very convenient. This will be our go-to Mattress Firm store...
