Wyndham Vacation Resorts — Hotel in Kissimmee

The Room was booked through Wyndham over the phone. They totally screwed up our vacation plan. My wife and I were given two full size beds for our 11 year anniversary. Wyndham literally has no help at the front desk and no one to call for help after regular business hours. This is our 1st time using our Wyndham vacation club points and we are very disappointed. We were literally on hold for half an hour in the morning with Wyndham and then how they helped us was transferring us to the front desk of the resort. The front desk manager was able to find us a Room that we had booked originally. Literally no help from Wyndham, Star Island resorts front desk manager helped us after poor customer service from Wyndham. Star Island has a great morning manager. Wyndham just transferred us and couldn't even be bothered with our problem that they caused in...

This appears to be Wyndam in name only, not the usual professioal management style we are accustomed to. For instance, nice fitness center advertised yet in reality poorly managed. Broken down cardio equipment (two crosstrainers, bikes, high treadmill) old working treadmills. Staff saying for over a week it would be repaired. Ask to speak to manager and he sent his staff who had no authority. Appeased with two 25 mins Swedish massage. Really useless as my husband has defib and heart disease. This is a significantly outdated property, over 30 years old and needs extensive renovations. I was assigned a unit which had a jetted tub but had almost 2 foot high rub with no step on the deck. Very uncomfortable to get in the shower. When I asked for a unit with just a shower, I was assigned one with a physically challenged room with a slide in shower which caused a mess as I did not know how to use it. Wyndham really needs to get this up to par to sell these units or there will be no more clients due to severe competition in the area. The location is prime so it’s a no-brainer. I’m a frequent traveler and write extensively. Sorry, not pleased...
