I really enjoyed our stay at Star Island. 7/7/25 - 7/14/25. We had 2 2 bedroom units for our group. The rooms were very clean, the staff were very helpful and kind. The only issue I had with the room is the bathtub in the middle of the main bedroom and open bathroom which lends to no privacy, so if u arent with a significant other is really uncomfortable. And you had to climb into the 2nd bathtub to take a shower...way too high. The pool area was great for the kids and family. There were 2 bars that adults could enjoy while watching the kiddos. Now bartenders could do better on making drinks though. Ordered a mojito and all she did was pour mojito mix in a cup with limes, but I drank it anyway. Lol They have plenty of things to do....pool, small arcade(does the job), mini golf, tennis courts, ping pong, outdoor chess . They also had activities throughout the day...arts and crafts, face painting, bingo, karaoke, and a live band. The resort was great and after a week of walking all day around theme parks it was nice to have a clean environment that had things to do or just sit back and relax with a drink in my hand. I would definitely...
Read moreFamily of 4, we decided to have a staycation my family checked in earlier at 4, I worked and decided to meet them later maybe around 8, checked in with a younger Spanish woman very polite and (her supervisor was sitting the the right ). (He could have stopped it all) we were staying at unit 2114
I meet up with my family at the room we get ready to go out to eat, we take 2 cars out sports cars are small…. So I beat them back to the gate…. This time it’s a different guy at the gate (but same supervisor) This guy proceeded to tell me that I was never there or checked in or my name wasn’t on the list…. Like adults I explained it’s a misunderstanding and he proceeded to flex his power and just wanted to talk and SAID THE YOUNG LADY DID HER JOB WRONG….
So I drove through the gate….. just to have that same supervisor act condescending (I’m allready calm) and the supervisor is like calmed down…. Nothing changed until the YOUND SPANISH LADY SHOWED UP but it was to much SO I LEFT MY FAMILY THERE FOR THE STAYCATION —— if I wasn’t so calm it couldn’t have...
