I had an absolutely terrible experience at this establishment and feel compelled to warn others about their unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. After placing a DoorDash order at 9:45 PM, I waited over an hour only to find out the food was not ready. The DoorDash driver had to leave, and I was forced to take an Uber to the restaurant myself to pick up the order.
When I arrived, I was told there was a ‘backlog of orders,’ and I agreed to wait 30 minutes. However, after waiting 20 minutes, I was informed there would be another 30-minute wait due to a supposed misunderstanding. When I questioned their inefficiency and lack of communication, I was met with rude behavior and told my order was canceled. To make matters worse, I wasn’t even allowed to speak with a manager to resolve the issue.
This level of incompetence and blatant disrespect is completely unacceptable. It’s shocking that a business would treat its customers this poorly, especially those who go out of their way to accommodate the restaurant’s delays. I strongly discourage anyone from dining here if you value your time, money, or basic respect.
I am adding following to your response: “I am utterly appalled and deeply hurt by the way I was treated at your establishment. As a paying customer who went above and beyond to accommodate your inefficiencies, I was met with rudeness, disrespect, and outright harassment by your staff.
After placing my DoorDash order at 9:45 PM and waiting over an hour with no update, I found out the order was still not ready, forcing the driver to leave. I had to take an Uber to your restaurant myself, out of sheer desperation to get the food I ordered. When I arrived, I calmly explained that I would cancel my DoorDash order to avoid the fees and pay your restaurant directly instead. Despite this, I was told my food would take another 30 minutes to prepare—your first promise to make it ready in that timeframe.
After waiting patiently for 20 minutes, I was shocked to be told there was yet another delay of 30 minutes due to a supposed misunderstanding. When I questioned this blatant inefficiency, I was treated with hostility and told my order was canceled without my consent. To add to this humiliation, I was not even allowed to speak with a manager to address this appalling treatment.
I cannot express how disrespected and devalued I felt. I was not just a customer trying to resolve an issue—I became the victim of your staff’s unprofessionalism and lack of basic courtesy. Your attempt to deny responsibility and twist the facts only worsens this disgraceful situation.
If you have any integrity as a business, I urge you to review any available security footage, which will clearly show the harassment and mistreatment I endured. This was not just poor service—it was an outright violation of a customer’s trust and dignity. I will be sharing this experience widely to ensure no one else has to go through the same humiliation and...
Read moreI usually don’t leave reviews and not at all bad ones; if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all, right? However, was beyond disappointed with the service today. We went for the Sunday buffet today, 2 adults, 8 and 2 year old. Firstly, only the biryani and the puri’s were nice. The BBQ was awfully spicy and the food was cold in the trays (they hadn’t turned on the burner under the trays). The masala on the BBQ was raw and we honestly only tried one piece and left it at that. We didn’t want to risk anything. Secondly, we called before coming to ask if the buffet had anything for kids. We were told yes, nuggets and fries. However, this was not part of the buffet, one portion was $9.99. We should honestly have taken the kids to another place with more kids choices.
No big deal, we didn’t like the food. That’s fine, not all food is to your liking. We also had to get water, napkins and straws ourselves.
The final straw was, at the time of paying the lady, I think her name is Farha or Farhana, tried to charge us for an extra adult. We had to correct her twice, the restaurant wasn’t that busy and neither is it that big that she couldn’t remember and the entire family was standing infront of her at the time of paying!
Anyway, she corrected that and told us to check the screen. We said that it’s fine, and we are paying with card. She then very skill fully pressed a button on the screen and we made the payment. As we were putting the kids in the car, we couldn’t understand why the bill was around $82 instead of around $70. We went in for a receipt, and on the receipt we saw that Farha/Farhana had added a gratuity of 15% herself without asking us. She didn’t ask or notify us. Usually restaurants do have a gratuity applied on larger groups, but it is displayed clearly on menu, at the till or somewhere. At the time of writing this review, it was not displayed anywhere and therefore it seems like she added the tip for herself without asking the customer, she literally pressed the button herself! This is daylight stealing. We were tired and didn’t want to cause a scene and just left. Utterly disappointed at this restaurant and the service of this staff. Never again.
Edit: In response to the owner, I’ve attached a picture of the special offer on TikTok. No where is the gratuity mentioned, as you say and also in my original review I did say “at the time of writing it was not displayed anywhere”.
There wasn’t a single menu on any of the tables ( first we sat near the bathroom for a minute, then switched and sat next to the door). Secondly, we called in the afternoon to specifically ask if you had any things for kids in the buffet. Exact reply was “nuggets, fries and nuggets” which we chuckled over that nuggets were mentioned twice. I can give you exact time of call. I’m glad your other customers enjoyed your food, it wasn’t just about the food but the service overall. Anyway, I wish you...
Read moreWe’ve been visiting Orlando for almost 13 years, and we’ve never found a really good Pakistani halal restaurant—until now! When you go out to eat, you really want two things: great food and fantastic customer service, and this place nails both.
This was our first time enjoying halal food in Orlando, and it was surprisingly reasonable! While it’s not a fancy place, the delicious food overshadowed any minor shortcomings in ambiance. Good food really is what matters most! Since they’re a newer establishment, I can see they’ll keep improving to create more of a fine dining experience over time.
Speaking of great service, the gentleman who welcomed us, Adam, was incredibly friendly. He made us feel right at home and walked us through the menu, giving us honest recommendations on what to order and the expected wait times. Don’t worry—he’ll make sure you know when to expect your food!
Just a heads-up—the wait time is a bit longer (about 45 to 50 minutes), but I think that’s because they prepare everything fresh, which is definitely worth it.
We ordered two tikka pieces: one leg/thigh and one breast, and they were both juicy and tender. The spice level is just right—not bland at all! And oh, the puri paratha was outstanding! As a Karachi local, I love dipping my puri paratha in doodh pati chai, so this brought back great memories of my favorite street food stalls back home. The Bihari boti was tangy and packed with flavor—absolutely delicious!
In total, our meal was just $55, which included chai and ginger ale for two. That's a fantastic deal for the amount of food we got!
I really hope this restaurant thrives in Orlando. There aren’t many options for Pakistani Muslims looking for tasty halal food, and this place is definitely a gem. May their...
