The show itself is gorgeous. If you don't have to worry about disabilities, you will love it.
For those of you who do- that's why my review is so low.
I called ahead looking for accessibility information because 3 of my family members have disabilities. 1 of which has proprioceptive, and gait challenges. The girl on the phone just read the website prompt but refused to answer any real questions about the path. It was frustrating.
We drove 2 hours to the show. When we arrived, it was chaos. We had tickets for an 8:30p showing but at 8:45 they were still trying to let in all the 8-8:15 tickets. There was no real organization. We were finally let in around 9pm with a sizeable crowd of people. Everyone was understandably walking faster than us, so we kept moving aside to let groups pass us. We still felt rushed. It was too overcrowded.
The trek is too steep w no handrails on several spots. Imagine feeling rushed up or down slopes with a sprained ankle and no railings. It's nice that they have benches but it was hard to find empty ones due to the crowd sizes. My ADA child had literal tears of pain from the walk because of the lack of breaks, lack of accessibility support, and faster crowd pacing. If there were less people I think we could have managed better.
My son started crying from pain so we tried to get out of there as fast as he could possibly go, but again- due to crowds- we had a hard time getting through quickly.
This is a gorgeous sensory experience. The show itself is breathtaking. Unfortunately, there should be more information on the site to advise people w any walking disabilities to steer clear. For that alone I give it 2 stars. I highly recommend anyone with gait abnormalities, proprioceptive challenges or even heart conditions steer clear. This is not an ADA friendly walk. We tried to go slow and steady but it was still too demanding for our ADA family member. I was pretty...

A spontaneous 4 p.m. decision turned into a 13-hour road trip to Wisconsin Dells—and it was so worth it. Between the belly-aching laughter and time with my friend, our first stop was absolutely #perfect.
@aquavialumina in Wisconsin Dells....10 stars, hands down. I’m a sucker for immersive experiences, and this one hit every note. The soundscape there transported me to another world.
The lights, the scenic walk through natural terrain, and the storytelling all came together beautifully. Their setup had something for everyone, and it never felt crowded. Honestly, no video could do justice to the layers of experience we found there.
If you go, take your time. PLEASE DO THIS... sit in each space, watch, listen, and soak it all in. Don’t rush through it like we did (regretfully) to get to the next, less exciting excursion. I wish I could rewind and savor every moment Aquavia Lumina had to offer.
The only other thing I wish could have been different is that I was in some country setting versus a highly...
